Dereck Walter was born on March 21 of '79. He lived a simple life with a simple dream that every teenager has way back from his times. And that is to become a wrestler. He grew up watching his teenage idols battle it out on the squared circle, he idolizes Bret Hart all because of his deadly finisher, the Sharpshooter. And ever since that day when he first saw his favorite superstar win the title on Wrestlemania, he said to himself that this is going to be the dream he's going to follow for the rest of his life. At the age of 16 he's topping off everyone in his wrestling class in High School, he always train, exercise and trains some more even on his young age to get him ready for the undertaking he's going to put himself for a long amount of time. When he can leave the country, he took the opportunity to travel in China so that he can learn various martial arts. He still has his goals in tact while he's off improving his skills in various places. By the time he came back to the US, he immediately joined an indy wrestling brand, but he didn't got a huge break in there so he decided to quit after six months of being a wrestler there...
Getting to the XWA:
After years and years of loses and no breakouts on various Indy Wrestling brands, Derek Walter got offered to wrestle in XWA by one of the show's talents scouts. The scout claimed that he saw talent in Walter despite all his shortcomings. And now, he's on his way to fulfill his dream, unlike the other brands he's in, XWA is the biggest so far, because of this, he's going to seize this opportunity and try not to get null and void this time around.
Goals:
His goal right now is to become a great wrestler he can be, he wants to learn everything that needs to be learned in or out of the ropes. If he has a chance to become the world champion, he'll try to get there, but he doesn't care about the gold. He only wants to send a clear message to everyone that he can be one of the greatest of all time.

He wears two short elbow pads for his upper body apparel, then on the bottom, he wears a semi-black wrestling tights with a red and white line design on each leg. Topping it off he wears wrestling-made boots with a thin kickpad.

In The Ring: With him getting improvements on the grappling and high flying area with his time on the XWA stage, he's turning to a wrestler that he want's to be, although he still suffers from not having a good amount of adrenaline and recovery. His greatest feats are still on his Submission and Brawling skills. He likes to inflict pain with the suffering of his opponents with a vicious hold that he likes to call, "The End" which is basically a sharpshooter nicknamed to his preference. Other than that, his favorite finishing maneuver is either a strong Samoan Drop or a spear of his own.

He enters the arena with the idea of winning the bout he's going to face. He's on the stage, and he raises his hand, showing that he's ready for the battle he's in. He continues on along the ramp, greeting some fans and eventually clapping their hands whenever someone reaches to him, he enters the ring with high momentum and excitement and to show his fans some fun, he flexes his arms wide to show he's capable of maintaining himself in the beatdown of the night for him.
