The incident Batista is referring to is the 2005 Royal Rumble, which "The Animal" won. After a controversial finish that saw Batista arguing with John Cena over who actually won the match, Vince McMahon came down to the ring and, upon entering, tore both his quadriceps muscles. Vince had to be helped out of the ring, but to his credit, played off the incident like a pro.

I remember that. He was sitting on his arse in the ring shouting at them.
