In the latest AJ Styles update, The Wrestling Observer is now reporting that TNA's original offer to AJ Styles was somewhere in the neighborhood of $200,000 per year. That's a significant reduction from the $350,000 he was said to have earned in 2013. This is the deal that Styles was said to have turned down.

Even more, the new offer wasn't even a guaranteed $200k, but rather structured more on a "per appearance" scale. If TNA was to cut back on live events, Styles would make even less in the end.

Regarding his actual status with the company, WrestleZone reported earlier in the week that he has re-signed. We reported earlier this week that TNA finally offered Styles what he wanted, and Styles accepted. It appears as if it's only a matter of time before "The Phenomenal One" returns to action in TNA.

Well could you blame him for rejecting a $150,000 paycut?

AJ deserves more. I know that 200k is still a lot, but he deserves more. Hogan and then are up there making tons and tons while he, the hardest worker, gets shit. That's not fair.

There's a strong chance those numbers were pulled from their asses, so I wouldn't trust them. But TNA are/were certainly playing hard ball on the amount. But you give your best guy the best money, not some guy who can't wrestle that had his prime days like 30 years ago...

AJ deserved WWE money.
