Chris Brown's probation has been revoked.
A Californian judge took away the 'Fine China' singer's right to freedom in light of his arrest in October for an alleged assault in Washington, D.C., but rather than sentencing him to jail, has said he can continue with his current 90 day court-ordered rehab treatment for anger management.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James Brandlin said: ''I'm pleased he's doing well in the programme and for that reason the court is not included to take the defendant into custody.''
Chris, 24, is not allowed to leave California except to travel to a hearing for the Washington D.C. assault case on January 8.

The star has been under probation since his 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna.
In addition to staying at the rehab facility, the star will continue to complete 24 hours per week of community service. The court has also ruled he must take his prescription medication and abstain from marijuana, including for medicinal purposes, which is legal when prescribed in California.

A report submitted to the court and obtained by E! news states he is making progress.
It reads: ''[Chris has] made improvements and positive behaviour change in the programme since his arrival. He is participating in multiple daily group and individual therapy sessions, including anger management.

''[He has] been taken off medical marijuana and is taking psychotropic medication as prescribed.
''[Chris] appears to have a more serious and responsible demeanour and is responding well to dual diagnosis treatment program changes and medication.''
