Dwayne Johnson will be returning to Jungle-set two-handers… if Peter Berg has anything to do with it.

G.I Joe’s thrust of retaliation will front a sequel to Berg’s “The Rundown” (called “Welcome to the Jungle” in Australia), if the “Friday Night Lights” alum gets his way.

”I really want to do it. I’ve talked to Dwayne. I have an actor in mind that I can’t say that I want to work with Dwayne on it, and we want to do it”, Berg tells Collider, noting that he’s already met with writers.

And an actor in mind that he wants to team Dwayne with? Shiiit, that’s gotta be Taylor Kitsch, right?

Berg’s a man with a lot of his ideas, and is pretty trigger happy when it comes to kicking-off potential new projects, so don’t bank on “Rundown 2″ just yet.
