Activision has announced via an official press release that Call of Duty: Ghosts is now the best-selling title for PS4 and the most pre-ordered title for the Xbox One at Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Wal-Mart. This makes the game the highest selling launch title for both next-gen consoles, surpassing Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Forza Motosport 5, and Killzone: Shadow Fall.

Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg stated: "We couldn't be more excited about the consumer response as we look forward to this Friday's release of Xbox One. As we've said before, it's a great time to be a gamer, and a great time for Call of Duty fans."

The game will be available on the Xbox One at launch on Friday, November 22.
