According to F4WOnline.com, there had been discussions within WWE about holding SummerSlam in London, specifically at Wembley Stadium, but it appears as if the idea has been nixed.
The feeling within WWE is that PPV buy rates would be crushed in The U.S. as the show would have to start at 3pm EST with the time difference.
11/15 Smackdown Social Media Score
This past Friday night's edition of WWE Smackdown drew a social media score of 55,943, which is down 15% from last week's show. The show did, however, rank #1 on cable TV on Friday night.
