Nintendo has revealed a Super Mario Galaxy stage will feature in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, showing off the popular sub-series in glorious HD.
The level was revealed by game director Masahiro Sakurai on MiiVerse, where he added that gravity will pull players towards the centre of the planet, which means you'll have to mix up your tactics.
You can see Planet Mario from Super Mario Galaxy 2 in the background of the stage. It's unclear whether you'll be able to fight all around the perimeter of the planet, or if you'll be restricted to the section shown in the image.
It's not quite the HD version of Super Mario Galaxy we were hoping for, though if recent comments by Miyamoto are to be believed there's every chance that we could still see it one day.
