XWA Vendetta returns from commercials on the back of the General Manager snore-fest with the show well past the halfway mark, and the atmosphere is electric in Sacramento, California!  As the cameras swing over the anxious crowd, it was clear that the people were practically imploding with anxiety, knowing their favourite XWA star was about to grace them with their presence, but before David Michaels has his match, they’ll just have to do with Dwight Lights instead as the cameras whiz backstage, where Brian Johnson cometh.

Brian Johnson
"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest… The Most Brilliant Wrestler Ever… Dwight Lights!"

The camera swings upon Dwight Lights, shamelessly plugging his brand new "Brilliant" T-shirt, staring up at nothing in particular with a smug smirk.

Brian Johnson
"Dwight, I’d like to pick your brain if I may about your match with Hitman Alex tonight…two weeks ago you attacked Hitman Alex with a sledgehammer, we all saw that but the question everybody wants to ask you is…"

Dwight Lights
"Why."

The villainous Australian breaks into a grin.

Dwight Lights
"Isn’t it obvious? Did you not hear my rant last week?  Did I not explain my actions to Mark Llaama? "

Brian Johnson
"I uhh…"

Dwight slaps Johnson on the shoulder with a grin.

Dwight Lights
"She’ll be right, mate.  I can answer this question every week… I’m Dwight Lights, I’m the Best In The World…"

Dwight produces his hands and begins to finger-count each statement.  One finger.

Dwight Lights
"I’m brighter than everybody on the roster…"

Two fingers.

Dwight Lights
"I’m Australian… that makes me at least twice as hemispherically efficient than Hitman Alex. "

Three fingers.  Brian Johnson scratches his head at the term ‘hemispherically efficient’

Dwight Lights
"And of course… I am impressive."

Dwight Lights holds up the four digits and winks at Brian, before rubbing his hands together, closing with a clap, his grin becoming more intense.

Dwight Lights
"Oh, and I’m still pissed about Endure."

Brian Johnson does a double-take.

Brian Johnson
"Whaaaa?"

Dwight Lights
"Hitman Alex… Endure… I’m still pissed about it."

Brian Johnson
"I don’t understand, I’m not following..."

Dwight Lights
"Do you even know how long I’ve been chasing the Rising Star Division championship, Brian?  I hunted that thing for years, it became my obsession, well past the entire concept of the title in the first place and after the Endure thing… Hitman Alex voluntarily gave up my RSD dream because he was an arrogant prick, the title was replaced and that’s all she wrote.  I will never be the RSD Champion."

Dwight Lights leans forward to Brian, pointing at his face with both hands wearing a long expression.

Dwight Lights
" That's why I challenged Hitman Alex to a match at Xtrememania 5, I challenged him because he cut me... he cut me deep. I will never ever be a Rising Star and that hurts… you see this face, it’s crying on the inside...""

Brian Johnson
"Jeez, Dwight I… I didn’t know?!"

"OOOOOF!!!!"

Brian Johnson folds in half as Dwight Lights abruptly punches him in the nuts, Dwight lowering into a kneel by the astonished interviewer looking back at Dwight with bulging eyes and a croaky wheeze.

Dwight Lights
"Well… that and all the other guys were taken."

Dwight slaps Brian on the back, rising to his feet with a snicker before leaving the frame of the camera…

And the show goes on as we get ready for the World Heavyweight Champion!
