Prior to tonight's WWE Smackdown taping, Ricardo Rodriguez wrestled in the event's dark match as El Local, and was defeated by WWE NXT star Xavier Woods.
Following the Smackdown taping, John Cena defeated Alberto Del Rio to retain the World Heavyweight Championship in the event's dark match main event. Cena got the pin fall win after hitting the AA on Del Rio.
After the match, Cena celebrated the win with a "Make-A-Wish" child, and it was described as a pretty cool scene.
