6-0 right now. Where does it end? Playoffs? Get themselves a playoff win or two? Super Bowl?

Overall, they might be a better team than the Broncos.

the defense is great. Ten sacks and 3 picks last game daaamn. They have good talent at just about every position. I actually think they could win some playoff games 1 or 2 but idk if they'd make it all the way to the SB.

Alex Smith is crappy? Hes working with nothing and yet the team is 6-0. If the Redskins coulda traded for him they probably would of and would be better than their record now.

| lols now they are good (remembers the comments in the worst 3-0 team thread) Still gonna be playoff fodder for those amazing Texans? it's ok guys regardless I been saying for a couple weeks now, I am very much anticipating Week 11... Peyton Manning against argubly one of the best Defenses (Yards is like the only category they aren't #1 in lol)

I could see them edging the Broncos for the AFC West Championship, really. Their schedule is insanely easy and they are built to keep games close. Even with a 1 seed they're not legitimate SB contenders, but I think it's possible. More likely, though, is they win 10-13 games, end up the 5 seed, beat Cincinnati in round 1, before losing to Denver on the road.

In my defense at least I was one of the only ones to not call them the worst. I know I put them ahead of the Dolphins at least. 8) Still, I'm not really sold on anything past a playoff birth for the Chiefs yet. I don't expect to see them ahead of the Broncos in the West at all. Like a lot of people, I was immediately a believer in the Chiefs having drastic improvements this season when they added Smith & Reid (to go along with a defense you could tell would improve). This 6-0 start is pretty crazy though... it's most likely only gonna go down for them from here. They'll remain good but I don't see them keeping together an elite status throughout the entire season and into the playoffs. Without home field, I definitely bet on them going out in the 1st or 2nd round tbh, but they're very improved and a legitimate playoff team regardless. |

On paper, Seattle, San Fran, Cincinnati, & Denver can only match the Cheifs, imo.

Because there isn't any real weaknesses in that squad other than at QB. If they had a legit QB, they'd definitely be my choice to be Super Bowl winners

Meh, they don't really have any big weaknesses but I don't think they're GREAT in too many areas either. The Chiefs have a better overall defense and aside from AJ Green, the Bengals don't really exceed or even match what the Chiefs have offensively either, IMO. I guess it's arguable if Dalton can become consistent... but I'm not even gonna consider them for the SB, you crazy.

^ Bengals actually have a solid OL, Sanu and Jones are solid enough compliment WRs. Plus they have two solid TEs and Bernard has been used as a receiving RB while Green-Ellis is coming on with the running game. On defense one weakness I see are the DBs but its a good team overall.

I bet Tom Brady would disagree . I'm sure he'd love to play with Gresham, Green, Eifert, Sanu, etc over the current core of WR's he has right now...because Dalton isn't going to take them to the next level.

Not only that, but Dalton's lack of arm strength minimizes Green's ability.

What those 2 RBs bring together still don't match Jamaal Charles though, and Green-Ellis is declining. Gresham and Eifert were others I thought about mentioning (giving them credit for, other than Green) but the thing is neither has produced a whole lot consistently for that offense... kinda cause of Dalton I guess. Don't trust their WRs after Green. The WRs between the two teams I think are ranked: Green, Bowe, Avery and then a pretty big gap, although maybe Sanu not too far from Avery. I could see them being a better offense with a more efficient QB (like Smith) but Dalton just isn't consistent enough. And I don't think their defenses even compare really. Not that the Bengals D is bad in any way but the Bengals' front 7 is overrated.. their defense as a whole kind of is. They got obliterated by the Packers, whose offense hasn't even been as good this season.

Green-Ellis has been doing better as the years goes on. If you trying to say that nigga gonna be old, by the time that happens Bernard would have already taken over the #1 RB spot anyways. I think Bengals Receiving core > Cheifs just because Bengals have a lot more good options then the Chiefs do. I do agree with what you said about the defenses though.

Green-Ellis wasn't that good last season, and this year I'm pretty sure he hasn't been either. I'd have to check his stats to be sure about this year but I know he was on a downfall last season. To me it seems like he's been declining due to his age recently (past year and a half).

KC's defense is better than Cincinnati's, but any team who can hold Tom Brady to only 6 points is legit enough for me.
