The show opens with the usual XWA Revenge video package. Pyrotechnics explode on stage as the fans go wild. We are greeted by our announce team of Ronny White and Michael Fields.

RW: Welcome to the ninth edition of Xtreme Wrestling Association's Revenge! We have a great card booked for you here tonight.

MF: But that's the problem you pencil-necked geek. Our general manager Tex Roberts was found in a vegetative state in his Hollywood home. More details on that at XWA.com.

RW: That's correct Michael. Roberts is no longer general manager of Revenge, but I'm getting word from our producers that we'll see the general manager for the first time in a few moments.

MF: Otherwise, we kick off the XWA Championship Tournament tonight. The winner of this tournament gets to face Nick Zayvin for the championship at our next pay-per-view. How does that sound Roony?

RW: Sounds good Michael...

MF: Nobody cares what you think you jabroni.



As the unfamiliar music erupts from the stage, the fans emerge from their seats. The music gets louder and louder as the lights in the arena dim down to a golden color. Suddenly, a man in a gold body suit and his face painted gold and black comes out from the stage. His smile goes from ear to ear as his black painted lips are wide open.

Jessica Wyatt: Introducing, to the big screen and the live audience here in Duluth, your NEW General Manager of Revenge... The Director!

The man, now known as The Director, walks down to the ring with a microphone in hand. He enters the ring and pulls off the blonde wig off his head. He throws the wig onto the mat as he places the microphone to his lips.

The Director:.....ACTION!.....

And with that his music starts playing once again as he leaves the ring still with his devilish grin. His painted face watches the XWA Universe from the top of the stage as we cut to commercial.
