| Was anybody else as thoroughly disappointed in this game as I was? I mean, everything the game was advertised as, (Black Mask as the lead villain, Deathstroke as the lead combatant) had me shaking with anticipation for months. Then I get it...and it BOMBS. I don't want to give too many spoilers unless I know you guys have completed it, but the story was perhaps the biggest cop out I've seen in a game for a long time. |

| I loved it. Was probably my favorite game of the series and everyone knows how much I loved City. If anything, City and Origins are tied for me. I was disappointed that the game become a whole - Spoiler:
Joker story and revolved around him rather than Black Mask, since I was really hoping someone other than Joker got some of the spotlight, and Black Mask was perfect for that, they made him look like a badass, then killed his momentum by making Joker the main villain and Mask just had a little side mission after Joker made him his bitch. Oh and I agree that I wish Slade had been one of the final guys rather than the third assassin (though idk if you even wanna count Electrocutioner), although I LOVED how much spotlight Bane got.
Besides that, it was an amazing game and the boss battles were even more amazing. Especially Slade's. ____________________ . Favorite Current Wrestlers:1. Sasha Banks 2. Becky Lynch 3. 4. 5. Favorite All-Time Wrestlers:Your dad |

This was precisely what killed it for me. Black Mask is such a great character, and they COMPLETELY trashed him AGAIN! (They had Joker take over his steel mill in City and he was relegated to being beat down by some guards in the opening scene as Bruce goes into City). If they wanted to do a Batman meets Joker for the first time game they should have advertised it and built it as such. For example, have Batman start off facing him in a minor mission when hes Red Hood (that Easter Egg in the game was cool, I'll admit), before knocking him into the acid, leading to the rest of the game. That would've been more preferable, because the shock value of Black Mask really being the Joker did not overweigh the shear disappointment I felt at Sionis being shat on again. I will say however, that I was impressed with Joker's new voice actor. He sounded exactly like Mark Hamill.
My other issue was the Assassins themselves. What I thought was suppose to be the main driving point behind the game's story turned into an afterthought of disappointing side missions that didn't really do anything for any of the Assassins.
The fact that Deathstroke got no build and then only got one boss fight (however great it was) was the thing that put it over the top for me. Deathstroke is my favorite DC character, and after the great job they did on him in Injustice, I was expecting so much more. I cant even get too excited about him being in the upcoming Suicide Squad game (which was what the end credits scene was about) because 1. Deathstroke isn't in the Suicide Squad (which is my favorite DC series to read) and 2. It implied that Blackgate Prison, who EVERYONE breaks out of, could keep Slade no issue. He is suppose to take the job with SS or "rot in that cell" as Amanda Waller says it.
Finally, Bane. Once upon a time I would've agreed with you. But ever since Dark Knight Rises, he has been over-used as shit. I LOVED the way they portrayed him in this game, but I guess the fact that the game involved 1 mission/fight combined with Deathstroke and Black Mask, while using about 10 Bane missions and 12 Joker ones, stopped me from enjoying him as much as I could have.

| I honestly loved the story, don't see much point in explaining it, but I've never been a major DC fan, so I can't say I care more or less who the major villains are involved. |
