Sony has confirmed the rumour we heard earlier this week: Driveclub has been delayed to 2014.

In a statement posted on the PlayStation Blog, the company confirmed the game won't launch alongside the PlayStation 4 as was originally planned, but revealed that a new title would be added to the Instant Game Collection at launch to compensate gamers.

"SCE Worldwide Studios and the team at Evolution Studios have made the difficult decision to delay the release of Driveclub and Driveclub PlayStation Plus Edition until early 2014," Sony worldwide studios boss Shuhei Yoshida explained. "Driveclub will be a truly innovative, socially connected racing game, but the team requires more time in order to deliver on their vision - and I'm fully confident the game will surpass your expectations.

So annoyed they pushed back Watch Dogs, as that was the bundle I wanted...now they delay this too. Have to settle for sodding Kill Zone and I've never played the damn thing before

It feels like everything has been pushed forward many months with these console releases.
