This was a really fun show. The matches with heat were a lot of fun to watch. Even though there wasn't a story for the legends tag team match all those guys were over and so good. And I keep saying Bob Orton Jr. was a way better worker than Randy.
I was disappointed by the SMW Heavyweight Title match. Terry Gordy was great and I never seen much of The Dirty White Boy. The headlock didn't bug me but the finish fell flat and it would have sucked watching back then because Chris Walker never came back after the angle.
Seeing some of the legends was cool but that segment did drag and if you didn't know those guys it doesn't mean anything. Not saying they shouldn't have done that but it doesn't hold up for people who weren't fans in that territory back then. It was a lot better when they had a video introduction and sadly they couldn't do that for everyone.
I watched this in segments rather than the full show so I'm not sure what was the best match. It's too bad Chris Jericho broke his arm. If that didn't happen I imagine the street fight tag team match would have easily been it.
Worst match was The Dirty White Boy vs. Gordy. Like I said it disappointed me. Not that I had headlocks but the finish fell flat for me.
The best thing about the DVD is we got the background for the main event and it was a long video. It was long but it helped a lot understanding what lead up to the Coward Waves The Flag match.
