Main Event: Caleb Spires vs Jerod Barnez Empty
PostSubject: Re: Main Event: Caleb Spires vs Jerod Barnez   Main Event: Caleb Spires vs Jerod Barnez EmptySat Oct 12, 2013 8:32 pm

(I REALLY didn’t want to post this, because this is the worst thing I have produced in years. But it’s been over 2 years since I’ve no showed, so I’m not going to start now. Don’t even grade this, as I already know the result. I plan on coming back stronger than ever at Cocks… Er, KoX.)

Ted Cedar: “Welcome back folks, as we are getting ready for our main event of the evening! Jerod Barnez will continue to try and prove himself with quite possibly his biggest challenge to date against XWA’s 5x heavyweight champion, Caleb Spires! And we have none other than the legend himself, and father of Jerod, Thomas Barnez joining us at commentary.”

Adam Dennis: “Welcome aboard. It’s an honor to have you on commentary tonight sir.”

Thomas Barnez: “Thank you. I’m simply out here to observe my son’s first main event. With any hope, I won’t be leaving this table in a bad mood tonight.”

~Ding! Ding! Ding!~

It is rather clear to all of the fans that despite having an experience factor, when Spires steps forward to meet Jerod in the center, it is an incredible mismatch of nine inches and nearly one hundred pounds. Barnez eyes Spires down, and the much smaller Spires looks right back into his eyes and starts circling the big man, looking for the right spot to pick. Jerod does not want to waste and valuable match time as he makes the first initiative by lunging at The Elite One as he attempts to decapitate him with a clothesline. The clothesline is ducked and as the new star turns around to face Caleb he is met with a knife-edge chop as hard as Caleb can muster. The loud slapping of hand against skin is drowned out by the loud “WOOOOOOO!” of the crowd paying homage to The Nature Boy. The chop was enough to leave a handprint on the big man, so Spires finds it fitting to draw back and deliver yet another skin-cutting chop even harder than the first. The 279-pounder is temporarily taken back by the second chop and it begins to frustrate him that such a small man is getting the upper hand at the beginning. As Spires draws his hand forward to deliver a third chop, he suddenly finds his force has stopped. The cause of this is Jerod reaching out and catching his wrist to prevent the chop. With nowhere to go as Barnez controls Caleb by the wrist, The Elite One soon finds himself being European uppercutted. This manages to garner some attention and gasps from the fans as Spires is taken right off his feet, sent airborne, and topped off by crashing to the mat as he clutches his jaw that feels as though it has been shattered into a thousand pieces. He scrambles over to a corner and uses the ropes to pull himself back up as he tries realigning his jaw.

Adam Dennis: “Ha. That’s rich. Spires already has fear setting into his heart. I guess that’s to be expected, as he is the biggest coward in this whole company.”

Ted Cedar: “That may be a bit of an overstatement… Regardless, Spires will try to bounce back as best as he can. He’s not the type to give up this easily.”

Thomas Barnez: “And Jerod should know that. He needs to keep the match going as fast of a pace as he can, otherwise he may be making a mistake.”

After the uppercut, Spires is a bit shaken up and set back. He has his eyes off of Barnez as he pears at the mat, still rubbing his jaw. As soon as he looks up, the newcomer charges at him delivering a corner clothesline so violent that it nearly sends Caleb flying over the top rope, but The Elite One uses his instinct and athleticism to pull himself back into the ring as he starts going over. Jerod backs up, as the groggy Spires stumbles out of the corner, holding his jaw and rotating his neck to make sure he hasn’t suffered whiplash. Barnez decides to keep the match going fast like his father suggested on commentary, perhaps showing that he is a chip off the old block. As Spires stumbles out of the corner, he is met with both of Jerod’s arms locking around his waist. This is followed up by being thrown over his head in a belly-to-belly suplex that seems to take Caleb about 10 feet in the air before flipping straight onto his back with a loud thud. As Caleb lets out a big grunt, he realizes that he slacked on the match all week and it all about to go downhill from here. As Caleb has some self-conflicts to work out with himself, he soon finds himself being covered by Barnez for the first point in the match.

1-2

The Elite One shows his heart and manages to kick out. Then, all laws of gravity are defied. 20 minutes pass by the snap of a finger Caleb manages to lock in his Inspired crossface with absolutely NO set up. No transition into it all. Somehow, the Inspired gets locked in and at this point, the bloody, sweaty, groggy Barnez has no choice but to submit.

Main Event: Caleb Spires vs Jerod Barnez Empty
PostSubject: Re: Main Event: Caleb Spires vs Jerod Barnez   Main Event: Caleb Spires vs Jerod Barnez EmptySat Oct 12, 2013 10:55 pm

[The last four paragraphs probably seem extremely rushed. Basically, when I write my posts, I plan everything out and then I re-write the whole post with actual descriptions. I made it to the 6th paragraph before I got too tired to continue, so the last four are just the planning out process of my post. >_> I figured I don't need to bother wasting my time when Caleb didn't write a legit post, and I'm tired as fuck, so yeah. Same reason there's no commentary.]

After the sonance of the bell is heard ringing thrice, Jerod extends his arm out to his opponent for a handshake. Caleb immediately accepts it and the two shake hands, gaining a nice pop from the crowd. Following this, the two superstars begin to circle one another before going for a Collar-and-Elbow Tie-Up. Jerod immediately showcases his strength advantage by pushing Caleb back so hard that he hits back-first off of the canvas and flips onto his stomach. As Spires gets back to his feet, he appears shocked at the strength of this newcomer. Jerod goes for another Collar-and-Elbow Tie-Up, but Caleb dodges it and pops up on the side of his opposition, before landing numerous shots to the ribcage. Quickly, Jerod rushes to the ropes and rebounds off of them, as Jerod turns around just in time to receive a Dropkick to the chest. The Dropkick surprisingly doesn't knock Barnez down, however. Caleb tries again, bouncing off of the ropes once more and landing another Dropkick to the chest, but Jerod won't budge. Finally, Caleb goes for a third one, but this time after he ricochets off of the ropes, Jerod runs at him and drills him with a Clothesline that flips him inside-out!

Jerod slowly backs up to the opposing corner of the ring and kneels down, seemingly looking for his finishing Gore early in the match. As Caleb reaches his feet, Barnez jolts forwards but his opponent moves out of the way. Fortunately for Jerod, he managed to stop himself from hitting the steel post just in time. Unfortunately for him, he turns around to receive a sharp Roundhouse Kick to the side of the head! The big man falls into a seated position in the corner of the ring as Caleb runs to the opposing corner and pauses for a brief moment. He then jets forward, full-speed, into a low Dropkick connecting with the chest of his opponent once more, this time with Jerod squashed in the turnbuckle! Caleb immediately pulls Jerod into the center of the ring by his leg and goes for a cover. One! Tw—Kickout just before two!

Caleb slowly gets back to his feet as he begins clapping in an attempt to get the crowd behind him. The attempt is successful and the audience begins clapping in unison as Spires waits for his foe to get back to his feet. Once Jerod gets up in the corner of the squared circle, Caleb rushes full speed at him and leaps into the air, looking for a Stinger Splash. Jerod manages to catch him, however, before taking a few steps forward and drilling the much-smaller man into the canvas with a deadly Spinebuster that shakes the entire ring! The audience lets out a heavily mixed reaction to this, as Jerod decides on his next course of action. He makes his way to the corner of the ring and begins climbing the turnbuckle, perhaps to set up for his Two-Step Moonsault. Once he reached the middle turnbuckle, however, Caleb bursts into life and pushes him over the top rope and to the outside of the ring! As a loud thud is heard from Jerod hitting the floor, outside of the ring, Caleb slowly begins to ascend the turnbuckle himself. He gets to the top only a small amount of time before Jerod reaches his feet outside of the squared circle and Caleb leaps forward, executing a beautiful 450 Splash that lands to perfection on his standing opponent; taking both men down! The audience bursts into cheers at the huge move.

Slowly but surely, Caleb gets back to his feet outside of the ring as the official begins a ten count. By the time Spires has reached a perpendicular base, he notices Jerod on all fours and then proceeds to run at him and land yet another Dropkick; this one to the side of his opponent's head, causing him to flip over onto his back! Spires gets back to his feet again and raises a fist to the crowd, garnering a good reaction from the fans in attendance. He slides into the ring and then quickly back out to force XWA official Ryu Sanu to start his count over, much to his chagrin. Caleb then climbs onto the apron and waits for Jerod to get up. Once the timing is just right, Caleb jumps into the air and springboards off of the middle rope, rotating his body one hundred and eighty degrees as he goes for a springboard corkscrew Body Splash! Somehow, however, Jerod manages to showcase his immense strength by catching his opponent, mid-air, in a Bear Hug-like maneuver! He turns around, still latched onto Caleb, as he makes sure the positioning is just right before launching Spires backwards, sending him crashing into the steel steps with a marvelous Belly-to-Belly Suplex! Some fans cringe at the sight of Caleb's body being mercilessly thrown into those unforgiving steps, as other fans cheer for the impactful move.

Steadily, Jerod gets back to his feet and he raises Caleb back up as well, before ramming his head off of the ring apron multiple times as Ryu reaches a count of four. He grabs Spires by the wrist and pulls him into a vicious Short-Arm Clothesline, before turning around and slamming his palms off of the commentary table, letting out a loud, warrior-like roar in the process. The roar garners some cheers from the fans, but not nearly as much as Caleb's fist raise did earlier. Jerod slides Spires into the ring before hopping onto the apron and beginning to ascend the turnbuckle. Upon reaching the top, he waits for the opportune moment to strike. As soon as Caleb's footed, Jerod does a somersault off of the turnbuckle, landing in an innovative Dropkick that he calls the Death By Dropkick! The move connects directly with the face of Jerod's adversary, as he quickly scurries onto him for a pin. One! Two! Th—Kickout at two and a half!

Jerod looks up at Ryu to make sure it was only a two-count, which the official assures him it was. Angered, but shaking it off, Jerod decides it's time to up-the-ante a bit. He grabs Caleb's leg and wraps it around his neck to lock in the Conviction, also known as the Stretch Muffler or Brock Lock! Caleb has nowhere to go, being trapped in the center of the ring. It isn't exactly like he can crawl to the ropes, as he's not even touching the ground, Jerod having lifted him completely off of the canvas to apply the move. Screams of pain and anguish come from the mouth of Caleb as he desperately tries to find a way out of this hold. Finally, he gets an idea. He showcases surprising upper body strength as he pulls his torso up so that his fists can reach Jerod's head and he begins unleashed punching after punch to the bigger foe, eventually causing Jerod to let go of him. As soon as he was freed, Caleb goes for a kick to the mid-section, but Jerod catches it. Caleb quickly reverses into an Enzuigiri!

Caleb slowly crawls onto Jerod for the cover, but it's a kickout. Caleb slams his palm off the canvas in frustration. He gets back to his feet, pondering what he should do next. He stomps down on Jerod a few times before climbing the nearest turnbuckle, setting up for a Moonsault. By the time he reaches the top, however, Jerod has gotten up. Jerod runs and leaps onto the turnbuckle and lands his Avalanche German Suplex.

The referee starts a ten count as both men are down. Slowly, they both get up and exchange shots. Eventually Caleb gains the upperhand with the shots and runs to the ropes, but Jerod goes for the Falcon Punch, but Caleb latches onto his arm and then trips Jerod and applies the Crippler Crossface finisher Inspired. Eventually Jerod lifts his opponent up into a Sidewalk Slam. Pin but a kickout.

Jerod waits for Caleb to get up and goes for a Clothesline, but Caleb ducks under it. Caleb goes for the Encore Pele, but Jerod catches him by the leg and applies the Detroit Lock. Plenty of struggling. Caleb almost gets to the rope, but Jerod pulls him back and grapevines it. Eventually, Caleb gets the rope.

Jerod gets back to his feet and contemplates what he could possibly do to end this. He heads to the opposing corner of the ring and sets up for the Gore again. He goes for it when Caleb gets up but Caleb leapfrogs over Jerod, tweaking his leg on the landing. Jerod goes shoulder-first into the steel post. Quickly, Caleb goes for a roll-up, but Jerod kicks out. Both men get back to their feet quickly and Caleb runs at Jerod, but Jerod tosses him over the top rope. He lands on the arpon, as Jerod stumbles away from the ropes, holding onto his shoulder in pain. Caleb springboards off of the top rope from the apron and goes for a Clothesline but Jerod catches him with a Gore mid-air for the win.

Main Event: Caleb Spires vs Jerod Barnez Empty
PostSubject: Re: Main Event: Caleb Spires vs Jerod Barnez   Main Event: Caleb Spires vs Jerod Barnez EmptyMon Oct 14, 2013 8:41 pm

By the time Barnez has reached the top of the ramp, Spires is back alive from the Gore he suffered by sitting in the center of the ring as he clutches his ribs and looks out to the crowd in total dejection, too speechless to even describe the emotional pain he is going through after losing his last three matches, two of them being to newcomers. Once Barnez has exited, his music stops and Spires gets back up to his feet, fumbling around and grasping his ribs. It looks as though Caleb is so embarrassed that he doesn't even want to walk out of the arena with an insane loss of dignity. The crowd begins to clap for The Elite One perhaps out of a pity, but either way Caleb is still dissatisfied with himself. He sheepishly smiles and turns around, walking straight into a clothesline that sends him crashing to the mat and bringing on a chorus of boos.

Ted Cedar: "What in the hell!? Where did he come from?!"

Adam Dennis: "YESS! This is shaping up to be perfect!"

While The Elite One crashes to the mat feeling as though his head has been knocked off his shoulders as none other than Scorpion Beware, a body guard of Smoke Xtreme, stands tall over him. After competing in a grueling match with Barnez, the clothesline from Scorpion is practically the last thing Caleb would have asked for at this point. As the crowd continues booing the unneeded post-match attack, who better to walk down to the ring with the most arrogant smirk on his face, holding a steel folding chair in his hand? If you guessed Smoke Xtreme, you are sadly correct. He walks down the ramp at a rather fast speed and slides into the ring, ready to help his bodyguard give Spires the ass-beating of a life time. Of course, it is too much of a challenge for Caleb to reach his feet on his own, so Scorpion helps him up to his knees, clutching his hair as Smoke reaches a standing position, holding his chair tightly in his hands. The groggy Caleb can't do anything to block it as the COO swings as hard as he can, catching The Elite One right between the eyes with the steel chair, causing him to collapse to the mat as Scorpion lets him drop, his face planted straight into the mat as blood begins to trickle off of his forehead and form a pool around him.

Ted Cedar: "This is sickening! I can't stand to watch this."

Adam Dennis: "This is justice!"

Ted Cedar: "How can you call THIS justice? This is a simple mugging on an already beaten-down Caleb. He is defenseless."

Adam Dennis: "Well get used to it, because Smoke is just warming up! Just wait for their match at King of Xtreme."

Smoke smiles as widely as he can and pats Scorpion on the back for their good work. aS sPIRES SLUMPS OVER TO HIS SIDE, HE LEAVES HIS WOUND OPEN FOR FIRE. sMOKE BEGINS STOMPING AT THE FOREHEAD(God damn it, I'm not retyping that, deal with it.) that is already cut open and attempts to widen the cut. And it seems as though he is going a good job at doing so, because Spires soon becomes nearly unrecognizable with blood almost completely covering his face leaving him a cowering mess as he curls up into a ball to avoid the stomps. That is practically the only thing he can do at this point in time. As he lies on the mat unable to get up, Smoke pulls him back up by his hair and shoves him in between the legs of his behemoth bodyguard. Scorpion wraps his arms around Spires' waist and lifts him into the air with relative ease, before dropping him right to his back with a powerbomb so forceful the ring shakes. Caleb quivers in complete pain, only making the fans cringe and yell even more, directing their hatred outward onto Smoke and his bodyguard. Time for the grand finale. Scorpion brings Caleb back up to his feet again, and tosses him into the corner, the only thing that will keep The Elite One on his feet. Smoke tosses him the chair from earlier and Scorpion stands to the side of the cornered Caleb, holding the chair pressed up to his face. The Chief Operating Officer stands back with his leg cocked and lunges forward, superkicking the chair to deliver his Smoke Ride with an assisted steel right into the face of Caleb, causing him to face-plant the mat possibly unconscious. Scorpion grabs Smoke by the wrist and raises his arm up in the air, causing the most negative reaction of the night.

Adam Dennis: "That, my friends, is the true winner of tonight."

Ted Cedar: "I am appalled... This was just sickening."

Smoke feels as though he has just accomplished something judging by the arrogant grin on his face. The Elite One lies on the mat, face down with crimson blood staining the mat. Smoke walks over to the side of the ring with the commentators and calls for a microphone. The time keeper definitely does not want to piss off the COO, so he meets his demands by scurrying to him as fast as he can with a microphone. Once Smoke has the mic in hand, he leans down to get really close to Caleb's ear to make sure he hears what he has to say, in between panting.

Smoke Xtreme: "Spires... I want you to listen here and listen good. Challenging me was the biggest mistake of your life. At King of Xtreme, I'm putting an end to all this. I'm putting an end to your disrespect. I'm putting an end to your reign as general manager... But most importantly, I put an end to your dignity. See you this Sunday, bitch."

After his dialogue, Smoke drops the microphone on Caleb's face to add insult to injury as he yet again throws his arm up in victory, the only person in the entire arena clapping for him being Scorpion. He leaves the ring ending the show with Caleb's mutilated face pressed into the canvas.
