According to The Wrestling Observer, WWE is reportedly interested in signing top TNA star Matt Hardy, and the report notes Triple H has already sent out feelers to the former WWE star via Hardy’s intermediaries.

The report added, however, that Matt Hardy has creative control of his character in TNA, and is doing well for himself as he sets his own schedule on the independent scene.

The report points out WWE’s “killer” schedule, and how that is definitely something a lot of veteran talents might shy away from if offered a WWE return deal. It was also noted, however, that TNA’s status is always a concern, and if something happens to TNA Hardy would need television to continue pushing his current character, for which Hardy reportedly has a lot of ideas.

no matter how you stand on the broken matt hardy stuff. Me I fucking love it. You have to admit it got a lot of people paying attention to matt hardy. Rather you love it or hate it, there is so much creativeity to this character and he is just living the gimmick, always staying in character. I rather him stay in TNA tho, because WWE will try to control his creativeness. TNA is the place for him if he wants to do it his way which imo is the best way.
