They have had a very good run, had very long reigns as champions. But maybe it should be time to slowly start breaking them up and see which each guy can do on his own?

I have to agree keep the shield together. Perhaps have Reigns go after the IC title or something.

Not until after Wrestlemania, imo. I think they should have another match at Wrestlemania, maybe carry on a little bit longer, then think about a break up. Actually, they could have some mileage in them as a face team before breaking them up, which could take them well into 2014.

Give them another turn with the belts and let them invoke the Freebird rule.

I see two ways of keeping The Shield:
- Ziggler wins the US Title, thus making Dean Ambrose available to run for the World Heavyweight Title (seeing the lack of contenders). Having Reins going for the Intercontinental Championship and Rollins for the US (or reversed, wtv)

- Keeping the Shield as they are till a bit after Daniel Bryan vs The Corporation storyline is over, then slowly having them grow apart from each other. I'm fairly sure they'll accomplish a lot on their own.

I want them to stay at least till after WM..or Summerslam 2014.

If they do break up, I think I'd mark out if it was on a mutual basis or something. One final fist bump to their music, before going separate ways.

if they break up I could see it being Dean who turns on Reigns and Rollins. Reigns and Rollins will continue to be a tag team but as faces, while Dean keeps being heel. than one day Reigns and Rollins break up. If anything I can wait for them to beat the fuck out of one another.

Yeah, I could see Dean leaving them after they've outlived their usefulness to him. Although I'd make it a split between the three of them, maybe have Reigns leave first because he wants to pursue a singles career (so there's no real acrimony between him and them). Then Rollins/Ambrose carry on for a while longer, before Ambrose turns on Rollins. I think a singles feud between them two would be excellent, and probably better than a three-way feud, or Reigns feuding with either of them.

To keep it singles, you could have Reigns interviewed backstage, and asked what he thinks of his old teammates fighting, to which he can say that he's staying out of it.

Why would you break up the Shield when they're one of the focal points of the Authority storyline?

I honestly don't want to see them break up anytime soon.

to me the shield has done a lot as a team, but I feel that maybe it's time for them to start thinking about wrapping up the shield. With every great faction, they must end. To me they done everything they could with the shield at this point. And people are just drooling at the fact of how their solo careers will go.
However
I think shield might have a face turn coming up to fresh them. After all HHH has tossed them under the bus a lot. and now with them losing the Tag team titles, and bet the US title soon because really it would look silly is only one of them had a belt. Triple H could do something to set them off and they turn on him.

Yeah, if they are going to break them up, the soonest it should be is after WrestleMania. I'd have them face two top stars at Mania in a handicap match and then set the seed for them breaking up, one of them doing a huge error in the match or something costing them the win.

But I wouldn't break them up for ages personally. No need to. Just try and elevate Ambrose to being a main event kind player.
