According to F4WOnline.com and Wrestling Observer Radio, when WWE announced Smackdown would be going live on Tuesday nights, talk began of TNA moving Impact Wrestling to Thursday nights on POP TV.

TNA aired Impact Wrestling on Thursday nights beginning in April of 2006, and throughout its existence the show has aired on Saturday, Wednesday, Friday and Monday nights.

An Impact Wrestling move to Thursdays has yet to be confirmed, however talks have intensified as of late, as the July 19th edition of Impact will likely see a dip in ratings due to new competition from the live WWE Draft edition of WWE Smackdown.

As seen in the video above, TNA announced that they are moving back to Thursday nights starting July 21st, two nights after WWE SmackDown moves to Tuesday nights.

It was also revealed that Impact Wrestling will now start one hour earlier at 8/7 CT.
