Up and down the show was a homerun. Almost every match had something great about it, amazing work by Don Callis for help get this company back on its feet and probably now once again has its own identity. Pentagon jr and Callihan went to bloody war in their match. And Moose and Aries was a hell of a main event.

I'd watch it but I spent enough money on video games and I'm thinking about getting Honor Club so I can get some tickets for MSG.

Good for them. Austin Aries is my favorite wrestlers of the last decade so I can't root against them. I'll try to catch some of it.

I wonder if Chilly has started watching again. He was the OG TNA/Impact Wrestling mark. Thirsty Mofos

I joked a few times that Chilly and TJ gave up on TNA before I did.

The thing is great wrestling isn't what's going to turn things around for Impact right now. They could have been a great wrestling company 10 years ago and that would have been great. But the opportunity is lost now. What has been working is doing something different that nobody else is.

First thing was The Final Deletion. You know my feelings on that.

Second was Eddie Edwards getting his head caved in.

Both of those are what drew people in to watching Impact. There's so much great pro wrestling right now that's accessible. Ten years ago you had to go to TNA because that was the alternative. Now Ring of Honor is getting more and more TV exposure. New Japan has Axs TV and New Japan World. WWE has The Network with NXT. There's a ton of great wrestling you can see already. Fucking Dixie Carter had her chance to be a great workrate promotion mixed with fun storylines like you would see in WWE but she blew it.

Not that great wrestling is bad but Impact needs a hook to pull people away from what's happening everywhere else. The G1 is happening right now. How are you going to pull anyone away from that?

But there does need to be a balance because you can't go back to The Russo days because then it doesn't matter.
