Kanye West reportly fired his security guard in a heated argument just before Monday nights Met Gala Ball in New York City.

Security guard Steve Stanulis was allegedly fired after he was seen chatting to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians start outside her hotel room at the Waldorf Astoria.

According to the Daily Mail, an eyewitness told the New York Daily News "Something happened at the Waldorf Astoria where Kanye just lost it".

Steve Stanulis, who has previously worked for Leonardo DiCaprio and Alanis Morissette, reportedly sent Kanye West into a fit of rage after he was seen handing the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star a package that had arrived at reception for her in the Hotel.

Kanye West has yet to report on the situation but took to twitter after the Met Gala to ackowledge that he had a great night at the New York event.

So the bodyguard was nice enough to go down to reception and get the parcel for Kim and as he's giving it to her he gets fired for his trouble. That's nice.
