The finish of the main event successfully accomplished zero of the things it needed to accomplish, all to serve the purpose of getting Roman over as the face that he just fucking isn't. WWE is so afraid to tell a good story because it may hurt the guy they want to be the big star in the short term. The reality of the matter is that you can't shove something down someone's throat until they accept it. This company is throwing money into the fire by trying to push Roman as a face. It's as easy as look at what you had to do with Rock. Imagine the buys if you just swallowed your fucking pride and turned Roman heel and had all the guys the fans like take turns beating his ass on RAW, only to lose to him on PPV. People would keep coming back to boo Roman and to see one of the guys they actually want to cheer finally get the title off of him. But what do I know, I'm just some smark on the internet, also known as 1/2 of their damn fan base.

Sounds like they went with the lamest finish.

They've been telling the story of who will the Bullet Club side with. They didn't bring that story to a conclusion and they really didn't extend that story line in a logical way. I feel all they were doing was trying to use the Bullet Club to get Roman over as this tough guy babyface who can't be beaten. It pissed fans off with Cena, and it's just going to continue to piss them off.

The last 10 minutes of the match was executed poorly. They tried teasing the fact that Roman was going to take the easy way out by being counted out, they restarted with no countouts. Then Roman hit Styles in the nuts as he jumped off the ropes...they restarted with no DQs. That's when BC and the Usos came out and all hell broke loose. Reigns kicked out of 3 Phenomenal Forearms and thats when you knew he was winning. They started messing with the volume of the crowd during the Vince segment because they kept chanting CM Punk and as soon as Reigns entrance happened, he got booed then they...all disappeared. Not to mention all of a sudden the female portion of the audience started to chant for Roman....that was non existent for the entirety of the match.
