I think what has hurt the business the most is the death of WCW.

Wait, is that actually a thing? Like, I knew years ago it was "cool" to hate Cena, but was it ever really to the point where people blamed him for ruining wrestling? If so, I believe my IWC point even more.

I remember a particular someone - I honestly don't remember their user name. If you are still here, sorry man, it was just not relevant for me to keep that information in mind - that would continuously blame John Cena. Whatever happened was Cena's fault. I wouldn't be surprised that, should their life come to a point where it's shit, they'd still blame John Cena for that.

Promotions die out all the time. You guys just don't know a lot about it because there wasn't national promotions until the '80s.

WWE has gotten stale and Vince is getting old. He's too stuck in his 1980s mindset.

with no wcw kicking at his ass he has no reason to want to make WWE better. Why give a fuck when you still are making tons of money and there competition. If something if good people will watch it no matter if someone spoiled it on the internet or whatever. If it sounds bad why would you wanna watch it? TNA, ROH, LU or any other company could ever get to the point to being seen as competition like WCW.

The competition was great for WWE. The problem is they hot shoted too much and instead of killing a territory WCW and WWE killed the business as a whole.

A lot of territories thrived without much competition until the '80s.

The IWC is an easy target, but the IWC flocks in doves when WWE does something everyone likes. Remember the Daniel Bryan storyline where he won the title at WM 30? Thanks IWC.
If the booking is good, the people will like it.
