– Ticketmaster is listing the May 23rd edition of WWE RAW in Baltimore, Maryland at Royal Farms Arena as “WWE Monday Night RAW vs. WWE.”

– PWinsider.com is reporting that there’s been talk of WWE bringing back the brand extension that the company had from 2002-2011 as of late.

The brand extension saw the WWE main roster split in half. One-half of the roster was the RAW brand, and the other half was the SmackDown brand. Both brands had their own live events and PPV events.

There is speculation that if Shane McMahon beats The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32 and gets control of RAW then Triple H will run SmackDown and call up some NXT talents to use on the show.

just its top talents. Probably won't see A-RY on raw or smackdown...but hey he can be NXT champion now

I am happy with this. Maybe they can even make SD! live. Plus, it will split the workrate in half for the talent.

WWE doesn't really have the drawing power to do a 1A vs 1B brand split. They'd need a "Product A" and a "Product B" where they're very different.

I mean, they have a ton of talent they don't use right and a lot of talent waiting in NXT. If they brought up some people, they could easily have a good roster for both shows.

THey have enough talent, they don't have enough drawing power. I don't think 4M people are going to watch both Raw and Smackdown. You need to make the shows different enough to justify fans watching both, otherwise I think people will just watch one.

That's true. Well to be fair, it's been that way recently. RAW is RAW and SD! is like NXT-lite. A lot of focus on the wrestling and the mid card and women.
