Some quick thoughts

LeBron James at 1. Facts.

I get Durant at 2 but I think a lot of people miss how much his unusual role hurts his teammates. There are certain roles that have to be fulfilled on a basketball team. That's a given. He struggles against quicker wings so you have to play 2 or 3 smaller players than him depending on your opponent.

However, on offense, Durant DEMANDS the ball and DEMANDS to get freed-up via screens to get open looks. This means that the one legitimate big you have on the floor sometimes can't be a real offensive threat. (Any big they have, for example ... Although Ibaka is working on his jumper.) Because he's such a gifted offensive player you have an urge to get him the ball a lot, but when your 2nd tallest player has the ball so often or is the focus of the play called, there are one or two guards playing secondary roles on offense.

Basically, because he has such a unique role, his teammates must take on equally unique roles to fulfill the responsibilities of the team. Durant is VERY good at what he does. But because of what he does, his teammates aren't put in equally efficient roles, making them look like less effective players than they are.

Tony Parker, Russell Westbrook, and Tim Duncan are all too high.

James Harden, Derrick Rose, and Kevin Love are too low.

Good to know I'm #42.

Real talk, I may or may not try to start watching NBA this year. But be warned, I'll be a Heat fan if I do.

Zbo, B. Jennings, Lee, Paul George are all underrated as hell.

How the hell is Tony Parker #4?

Tyson Chandler's being overrated tbh.
