WZ Daily regular and Pro Wrestling Sheet Editor-In-Chief Ryan Satin is reporting former NXT Tag Team Champion Wesley Blake was arrested for DUI this summer.

Blake, real name Corey Weston, was arrested on July 3rd around 3 a.m. and refused to take a blood alcohol content test (B.A.C.). He later entered a plea of not guilty and the trial was entered into a pre-trial diversion program, which (according to the Florida State Attorney’s office) usually sees the charges against the defendant dropped after completing a required program.

It is unknown if WWE knew about the arrest at the time, but Blake and his tag partner Murphy did drop the NXT Tag Team Championships a few weeks after the arrest. You can see video of Wesley Blake refusing the B.A.C. test in the player below:
