During Sony's press conference at Paris Games Week, Bandai-Namco executive producer Katsuhiro Harada confirmed that Tekken 7 will be released on PlayStation 4. Tekken 7 is currently available in arcades in Japan and there have been location tests at select arcades across North America this past summer. Harada didn't provide a release date for the PlayStation 4 version, but he did state that the console version of Tekken 7 will feature new content not seen in the original arcade version of the game.
This announcement comes on the heels of the news that Bandai-Namco's free-to-play PC fighting game, Rise of the Incarnates, will go offline a mere three months after its release.
Sony also announced today that Tekken 7 is coming to PlayStation VR, though no other details were made available.
