Misitc 2.0, WWE original Sin Cara, appeared at press conference for Lucha Libre Elite. There he announced his new gimmick name and noted that he had no contract with AAA. He had asked them for a contract for months but was not given one, so he was able to leave whenever he wanted to. When AAA pulled him he was shocked and felt disrespected.

Mistic 2.0 has the rights to the Myzteziz mask, which he was wearing at the press conference, but will have a new look for his gimmick at ELITE. The new look will be a hybrid of all of his previous looks, with the exception of the horns.

Mistic will fight the new Mistico if the chance presented itself, even for the name if that is what the fans want. His brothers Argenis and Argos are still working for AAA and he has not tried to recruit anyone to ELITE.
