| This was a mediocre show that gave absolutely no reason for new or old viewers to stick around. No new talent established. No meaningful developments. In the end, they gave the belt to a 41 year old who some people have heard of but isn't a real draw instead of trying to establish either of their two best young talents with a meaningful PPV win.
AKA the story of Dixie Carter's TNA for 10 fucking years. |

| I'm officially bored of TNA now. I haven't watched since just after EC3 became Champion (not because of that, though). I mainly haven't had enough time to watch and my digital box still isn't set up to watch the channel TNA is on here, so streams are boring to find/shit quality on my PC. But I've read results etc. and there is nothing that makes me want to catch up at all, especially after this. Who the hell wants to see Matt Hardy as World Heavyweight Champion? MATT FUCKING HARDY! WWE realised the boat sailed with him as a top talent a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG fucking time ago, and yet TNA puts the title on him in 2015? It's not even like they've developed an actual character with him, like they did Bully Ray. He's just living off being in a famous tag team in the early 2000s and his brother is a success. Apparently, after these results, we get to look forward to Matt Hardy vs. Tyrus for the World Title...I can't wait for that classic failfest to happen <_< Plus I hate the way everything is set up with TNA. Recording everything about 15 years in advanced is so stupid, how PPV/TV Specials are booked and run makes no sense, their booking is really random at times, they don't develop any characters - they just pluck them from the indies and are all like "go get over". Never happens unless they are VERY established, like the Wolves. Why the hell are One Night Onlys still a damn thing? Does anybody EVER watch those beyond the super hardcore? I don't...the Knockouts Division is full of talented females, but they just revolve the same ones over and over, rarely developing new talent. Established faces will leave for ages, then return in order to please the masses and the same can be said with the male roster (ie. always bringing the likes of Low Ki, Sonjay Dutt, Homicide etc. back). The X-Division will never develop into anything ever again and I'm sure they'll put a silly campaign on it soon, only to be forgotten about the next week...blah. I don't hate TNA now, I just don't care if I don't watch them again. I honestly enjoy WWE more now, although that's far from perfect. I want the Attitude Era back |

| No one really wants The Attitude Era back If it was true TNA would have made money years ago. |

| Thing is ROH is not gonna be the company Chilly likes. Nobody that wants to make money is going to do it in 2015. Vince Russo wanted to work for ROH and they didn't hire him. Russo wanted to work for Lucha Underground and they didn't hire him either. |

| Vince Russo made the type of wrestling product that you loved, that Crash TV style of pro wrestling. His influences can still be seen in TNA's booking.
He was never a good writer. He was just there in WWE the same time Steve Austin and The Rock was. And it's proven not only how horribly he did in WCW but his time in TNA proved it even more so. |

| Yes and I am not remotely arguing with that. However you're presuming I liked every little thing that happened in the Attitude Era, of which a ton of shit was utterly stupid and nearly all of that was Russo's making. That stuff I gloss over.
I think he had a decent spell when Vince McMahon was in charge over him and that's it. Frankly, it was probably more to do with blind luck more than anything...and Russo didn't write everything during that period, as there were still other writers. He indeed proved himself as utterly useless in WCW and then TNA. And contrary to what people think, I find/found a lot of what TNA has done rather stupid also, my thought on the current World Title change being an example.
So stop making up shit that I like Russo. Just because I like that period, doesn't mean I like HIM...I liked the Attitude Era and also the time period in the early 2000s. It's fuck all to do with him. |
