Sports Illustrated Names Top Indy Stars Who Should Be in WWE

Sports Illustrated’s Extra Mustard has published a new article naming top indy talents that should be in WWE. Some of the names include AJ Styles, The Young Bucks, Shinsuke Nakamura, Jay Lethal, Adam Cole and Ricochet, amongst others. Nakamura tops the list at #1.

I actually marked out that The Ascension is working with Stardust at least for the moment. I like The Ascension and thought it was stupid as fuck what WWE did to them. But I love the stardust character and now having The Ascension as his goons, its going to be awesome. imo

I want to get excited, but the fact that they formed in a throwaway segment on SmackDown tells me they don't have much planned for them.

Seems like a lot happened on SmackDown! this past week. Stardust recruits the Ascension, Kevin Owens hints at a feud with Ryback, and BO MOTHERFUCKING DALLAS WINS A MATCH (with a new finisher and aggressive post-match beatdown). Even the typical SD! throwaway tag team main event was relatively fresh. Shame that basically nobody watched the show though.

I always watch SD, and this was a good one.

Stardust could be the Ascension's mouthpiece if done right
