XWA Vendetta returns on the back of a King Of Xtreme bit and Razor Xtreme’s grinning face, meanwhile back at the arena “Ten Seconds Of Love” by Motley Crue is already blaring through the P.A system and a rowdy post-Rev Wars crowd are on their feet, be it to cheer James or boo him mercilessly.

Laura Watts: ”Coming to the ring at this time, from Brisbane Australia and weighing 235 pounds… James Best!”

Wiping his feet on the apron James gives the crowd a single arrogant wink and they’re ready to pounce, James grins from ear to ear at some of the more hate-filled shouts from the front row, scratching his stubbled chin and breaking into something of a pace.

James Best: ”Yes!  Boo me!  Boo me to hell!! Come on then let’s hear it, BOO!!”

The audience are all too willing to oblige, screaming “BOOO!!!”and “FUCK YOU JAMES!” or both!  All the while James grins, dropping to his knees with his arms outstretched, embracing the hate if you will.

James Best: ”You know I’ve got a somewhat imbalanced record here, it’s no secret that I’ve lost a few matches… missed a few boats ya know… just well… failing to get the job done,  Truth”, its true!”

The crowd break out with a “MISS THE BOAT!  MISS THE BOAT!!” chant, James arches his back a moment longer, cocking his elbow back and moving the microphone closer to his mouth.

James Best: ”I’ve been here what… three years?  Four?  Five?  Five something years and not one championship.  Not… one.  Sure I’ve had my opportunities and NO this isn’t me out here complaining about titles, this isn’t about gold, I’ll get to that soon…”

The crowd now turn to “YOU WANT GOLD!” chant.

James Best: ”No no… you see I’ve been thinking about a lot of things.  You see time and time again I edge my way into something important, something special or significant to me… something such as a title match and I find myself coming up short by this much each and every time.”

James squeezes the invisible space between his index and his thumb closer, shaking his head.

James Best: ”And ya know… sure I can just enter the King Of Xtreme tournament and win it…”

Best takes a long pause, opening his eyes, his back still arched in a lean backwards on both knees.

James Best: ”But no thanks.”

James reverts to a normal double kneel, stretching with a silent yawn and sleepily looking into the crowd.

James Best: ”In fact I’m done with entering tournaments, number one contender matches and battle royales?… oh god I hate those, I’m still kinda pissed I was eliminated in that last big one by a chick…”Kayleena? Kylie?? Something like that.  But yeahh I’m hell tired of this shit.”

James cracks his neck with a grip of his jaw and another on his temple.

James Best: ”It’s clear to me that I’m never going to get that title... just like it’s clear to me I’m never going to be in the Hall Of Fame and I’m pretty damn sure nobody here liked The Chaos Brigade.”

James gets up with a groan, swatting off both kneepads as he does so.

James Best: ”So here’s what I’m going to do, I’m just going to *BLEEP*ing quit.  *BLEEP* it.  I’m not going to bother with the Tournament tonight, who cares I beat up Xtreme Icon, the youngest XWA veteran I have ever seen in my life, at the big show.  I’ve done it almost a hundred times it’s always the same guys with me… right Ryan?”

James winks to the camera.

James Best: ”I don’t even care I beat Icon at the big show because in two weeks at the most, NOONE in this building will care either!”

As he speaks James finger points the masses in attendance, cluster by cluster, mouthing “You won’t!  Yoou wont!” off the mic.

James Best: ”So yeah I’m not wrestling tonight!  Certainly not right now in some fish in a barrel opportunity at an opportunity, as of right now my career is over indefinitely!”

James drops the mic with an audible knock and begins removing his wristbands, then his “BEST WRESTLER EVER” budget t-shirt, rolling it in a wad and throwing it to the crowd, who throw it back like a Jonathan Blade shirt.  James smirks a smug smirk, drops on his belly and rolls beneath the bottom rope to ringside, maintaining a casual demeanour he begins walking to the ramp waving bye-byes, only to pause and begin wiggling his finger in front of him, chuckling as he turns around and grabs a microphone.

James Best: ”Wait before you start busting out the Na na na na songs”

James flicks the mic on.

James Best: I said IJames Best will not be wrestling in the cocks tournament round tonight!

Ted Cedar: ”It’s actually pronounced with a K, for the record.”
David Michaels: ”I’m pretty sure James knows that, Ted.  The guys a real… I cant say.”

James Best: “I’m out.  And just like the El Guapo is to the Three Amigos, the Boomer Kuwanger is to Megaman and the Psycho Mantis is to the Solid Snake I am going to take the cowards way out and just quit this tournament right now, so Hey I won’t be wrestling… but you know what… he might!!!”

James breaks into a grin as “I’m So Bad (Baby I Don’t Care)” by Motorhead hits and the arena lights dim to blue flashes, the word “FIERCE” playing across the jumbotron.

Ted Cedar: ”Who in the world?”
David Michaels: ”Motorhead for his theme song, woah we got a badass over here!”

A fresh unknown makes his way out with an energetic half-jog from the back,  caucasian, bearded, and six feet tall at the most yet built, for want of a better phrase, like a brick shithouse.   Stopping only to shake Best’s hand, the mystery man steps down to the ring, a rather uncanny look-a-like for Bram from TNA, jumping over the top rope and landing on the mat with a dramatic roll, kipping up on both feet as if it were second nature, which it probably is.  The man's music ceases, and he begins to stroke his facial hair – a magnificent beard, shifting from boot to boot looking pumped for the apparent contest ahead… as James gets in announcer Laura Watt’s face from the ring ropes and belts orders into his ear, just heard growling “What are you waiting for, do it?!!”

Laura Watts: Uhh, ladies and gentlemen… the following contest is a Triple Threat match, and is the first round of the King Of Xtreme tournament!!!

Ted Cedar: ”What is going on?”

Laura Watts: Introducing first… from A Fierce Place, weighing two hundred and five pounds… Fletcher Fierce!!!

The crowd look on in confusion, turning to one another mouthing “Who?” as Fletcher stretches his legs on the middle rope, James Best popping up on the ring apron and talking him through things and whatnot.

Ted Cedar: ”Okay so I don’t know whats going on, this young man named Fletcher Fierce… Fierce?  Yes that’s right, Fletcher Fierce is apparently in the first round of the King Of Xtreme tournament and this match is starting right here, right now!!!”
David Michaels: ”LETTTS GET READDYYYY TO RUMMMMMMBLE!!!”

Fletcher Fierce (apparently) works himself up into an intense pace, nodding to James Best by the ringside before fixing a stern glare back at the main stage of the arena.  It was clearly go time as either Johnathan Blade or Chris Dolmeth were moments away from arriving,  It was time.

Um... your match isn't a KoX Qualifier. Sorry.

@Fierce

About the actual promo: it was alright. The crowd was weird, to be honest. If they hate James so much, I can't see them chanting "YOU WANT GOLD!" also I don't know why you censored yourself.

So so tired to correct this. I just wanted to basically do exactly what as it stated in the title, Introducing Fletcher Fierce, whilst basically retiring Jimmy B. As for the crowd... I have no defense there. Onwards and upwards!
