Notice how a lot of his predictions are bias and benefit him in some way.

Bold prediction for tonight; My Buckeye bias has me saying Carlos Hyde gets me more fantasy points than Adrian Petersongets my opponent (I know, I know....)

Actually, I was pretty successful here when you compare it to the other people in this thread.

- - Vincent Jackson has an equal or better year than Mike Evans. (fantasy points)
This was pretty close to equal if you base it on fantasy points per game played. Evans missed 4 games I believe. Left 1 (or maybe 2) other games really early as well. Evans only missed one game. Their average per game played is close enough. But it's wrong. 0/1 - Quote :
- - The Panthers are top 3 in total rushing yards.
1/2 - Quote :
- - The Saints offense is one of the best in the league.
They're 6th; 100 total yards away from 2nd in total offense and nearly 200 ahead of 7th. 2/3 - Quote :
- - Eli throws 20+ INT again.
I meant Peyton (well he won't get there either cause of injury)... but nah, I fucked up here but the guy is damn inconsistent. 2/4 - Quote :
- - Alfred Morris has the most all purpose yards of all RB's in the NFC East barring an injury.
But like, is this even that far off besides DMC considering the circus at RB in the NFC East? 2/5 - Quote :
- - Adrian Peterson, Teddy Bridgewater & Mike Wallace are all borderline Pro Bowlers. Everson Griffen is top 5 in sacks. Vikings make the playoffs.
Teddy & Wallace... Shit AP was back in full Pro Bowl form. Everson Griffen will be top 10 most likely so I'm a little off there. 2/6 - Quote :
- - Golden Tate has a 100 reception season / is just as good as last season if not better.
76 catches. With 3 more games left he'll get 90+ so very close. He was just as good as last season if not better considering he did this as the 2nd option this year. 2/7 - Quote :
- - CJ1K (total yards)
If not for injury he gets this incredibly easily. He was even better than I was expecting. I'm counting it as correct. 3/8 - Quote :
- - The Jets finish with a better record than the Rams.
Easy 4/9 - Quote :
- - The Jets finish second in division / make the playoffs. The Jets beat the Patriots twice.
1 right, 1 wrong. They could definitely make the playoffs too but I guess I'll be generous and count this wrong cause of the wrong inclusion of them beating the Pats twice. 4/10 - Quote :
- - The Dolphins finish below .500 / Philbin gets fired.
Indeed. Don't trust the phony Ian on the Philbin getting fired bold prediction. He picked the Dolphins to go like 11-5 and make the playoffs in his standings predictions. 5/11 - Quote :
- - Bortles finishes with a 2:1 or better TD:INT ratio.
Yup 6/12 - Quote :
- - The Titans finish with a better record than the Texans & Jaguars. They will win between 7 to 10 games.
The Titans let me down man. 6/13 - Justin Forsett finishes between top 6-10 in fantasy points among RB's. Forsett let me down man. 6/14 - Quote :
- - The Bengals regress in many stat categories defensively (possibly offensively as well).
Despite the improved record this is actually more or less true. I was vague with this one anyway so I guess I just won't take credit as it's hard to really say what "many" is. - Quote :
- - I want to say the Browns defense is elite this season but the offense will be such a mess that I don't know if they'll really show it or not. I expect a lot of pretty low scored Browns games tho.
Nah This wasn't actually a bold prediction tho as I said "I want to" but couldn't because of the mess of their offense. In a way this was kind of right but eh, the defense is just really not good either. - Quote :
- - If Johnny Manziel plays close to half the games, the Browns will have more wins under Manziel than under McCown.
Actually true and Manziel has played less than half the games even. 7/15 So I'm honest about what I'm right/wrong about. That's nearly 50% correct on nothing but BOLD predictions. In the other sports zone and fantasy football threads I made you guys look like clowns and you couldn't even respond to it. |

That's cause I was generous about some of the ones I counted wrong. So I skipped over one or two that I was really vague about. And the Browns defense comment wasn't a prediction. I said I wanted to predict that but I couldn't think they'd look good when the offense would be so bad. That CJ1K prediction was bound to be right. That shit was still bold as hell after last season and he was easily on pace to complete it if he didn't get hurt.

Man I'm the only one who takes chance with making bold predictions out in the open around here. That's why I don't get why Ian sometimes says I don't actually predict anything (or something like that). Where are your guys' bold predictions? I'd hope you wouldn't make "the next AP" predictions, that's for sure.

And the Saints ain't a top offense if you look past the total yards. And most of those yards were accumulated due to pass yards, in which Brees pads the stats like every year. They are one of the worst rushing teams and are barely top 10 in points scored with 24.8 per game, which is average.
