During last night’s UFC 193 post-fight press conference, UFC President Dana White was asked when CM Punk might have his debut UFC fight. White said Punk’s first bout will likely come before the summer of 2016, and White also asked that people give Punk time to properly train for his UFC debut.
“He’ll fight…I’m going to say before summer. Probably before summer,” said White. “Listen, he doesn’t have any fights yet, man. Let him take his time and work his way in.”
Punk signed with UFC back on December 6th, 2014, and has been training at the Roufusport MMA Academy in Milwaukee.
