I decided to make this a thread because I didn't want to go off topic in the Eva thread for the Admins.

Wrestling matches matter in ROH. The thing in WWE is that it doesn't really matter who wins a lot of the time. Barrett wins The King of The Ring tournament and immediately is put in a comedy program with R-Truth. I also heard one of the women pinned the women's champion only to lose her next match to some random girl.

Wins and loses seem to matter everywhere but WWE and TNA.

Like I said in the the thread this orginally started, I don't mind the wrestling aspect, but I like a fine balance between that and promos. At the moment, every storyline and promo is rather predictable; either someone walks to the ring to talk for 10 minutes, a discussion happens in the Authority's office or the face Divas happen to be talking to each other before the heel ones walk in and everyone goes all "girlfriend" on each other.

I miss the days where promos were more original and you had no idea what the next one will be. That needs working on.

today's wrestling in WWE is top notch and I wouldn't change it. But everything else sucks and needs to be worked on. There are no compelling characters for people to get behind, No storylines for people to follow. It is hurting the product.

because there is more to Pro wrestling than wrestling.

Promo work, angles, storylines, and build-up must not exist in Dead's canon.
