Randy Orton took a shot at Kevin Owens last night on RAW about his weight and that shot was deliberate from WWE officials who are against Owens because of the way he looks as well as the way he carries himself.

As noted earlier, there are some within WWE that don’t see anything in Kevin Owens and then there are some that see potential in Owens as a big star.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Owens has his supporters who are trying to help him get over as much as possible with upper management and be a big star, but then there are some who are helping Owens just enough to say that they tried to help while they didn’t want him to succeed in the first place.

Down below is an excerpt of Meltzer explaining this in the past on an episode of the Wrestling Observer radio.

“To again explain this: there were two schools of thought on Kevin Owens from the start and the basic gist was that some people thought that he was going to make it and some people thought he wasn’t going to make it, and those who thought he wasn’t going to make it made sure that he got every opportunity to make it or else they would be wrong. You know what I mean? I shouldn’t say they would be wrong, they wouldn’t prove that they were right. So now whether he makes it or he doesn’t make it, there is a game going on and we’re in the middle of the game.”

The way Dave Meltzer explained the logic in the triple threat match made me OK with the match. I still think they picked wrong, but whatever.

Still, they're walking an ugly path here. Fans know who is responsible for this and who is encouraging this talk and they already got "Kevin Dunn" trending on Twitter. WWE does not want to have to answer to MakeAWish and their sponsors about why they're promoting fat-shaming, bullying, and discrimination. If they had any sense, they'd nip this in the butt right now.

Its because you need to look larger than life damnit and if you dont you're nothing but a B+ player.

WWE will kill themselves from the inside because of burying every single talent they come across. You cant be built for the future if you dont give anyone a shot. You also cant make one guy a star and then give everyone else hope that they might make it one day and then pull that rug out from under them. There are 3-4 guys on both the face and heel side that can be made into a legit star but the company is too afraid to pull the trigger on any of them.
