Nintendo has announced several special editions of Super Mario Maker, along with when the 8-bit Amiibo from the Mario 30th Anniversary Collection will be available.
The figurines will come in two varieties -- one the traditional NES Super Mario Bros. brown and red and referred to as the "Classic Colours" Amiibo, and one who comes in the current Mario colors of blue and red like the 3D World sprite, referred to as the "Modern Colours" one.
Now, the company has confirmed a new Wii U Premium Pack containing a black Premium console, a physical copy of Super Mario Maker, a hardcover artbook and a Classic Colours Mario Amiibo will be available in Europe on September 11 and in Australia on September 12.
Also on those respective dates, Europeans and Australians could instead opt for the Super Mario Maker Limited Edition Pack, which comes with the game, the artbook and the Classic Colours Amiibo. The Standard Edition of the game comes with the game and artbook only.
For the Amiibo collectors out there, the company has confirmed the Classic Colours Mario Amiibo will be available as a standalone purchase from September 11 in Europe and September 12 in Australia, while the Modern Colours version will be available October 23 in Europe and October 24 in Australia.
There's currently no news about US release dates for these bundles or the Amiibo, but they'll likely be in the same windows. We'll update the story when we know more.
