| Im well aware NXT is apart of WWE, but the NXT brand is in direct competition with ROH in terms of talent, which venues they run etc |

| Frankly, NXT is considered more alternative programming rather than a developmental territory. NXT is indeed a part of WWE, but one can say that NXT is preferred more than Raw or SD. |

| Whether or not it's preferred is irrelevant, at the end of the day, it's still a developmental territory. |

| I think NXT itself forgot it was a developmental territory |

OVW and FCW were developmental territories. NXT is completely owned and run by WWE. |

| In WWE's eyes, it is a developmental territory. They just want to own everything. WWE started it out as developmental...but then decided they wanted to own the independent scene too and is now selling it to their fans.
One day, it'll ruin itself imo, because they are making expectations very large with this and it'll run dry down the line. |

| ROH and NXT going head-to-head again in September - Wrestling Observer wrote:
- While not confirmed by WWE, a number of sources have noted that the company has booked NXT events on 9/17 in Houston, at the Bayou Music Theater, 9/18 in Austin at the Music Hall and 9/19 in San Antonio at the Aztec Theater.
ROH has major events scheduled on 9/18 and 9/19 in San Antonio, at the Shrine Auditorium. The head-to-head show on 9/19 is a TV taping for ROH. Austin, going against what is scheduled as a major ROH live event that will be broadcast either via iPPV or PPV, is just over one hour away. http://www.f4wonline.com/more/more-top-stories/96-wwe-news/43673-roh-and-nxt-going-head-to-head-again-in-september |

| After the initial appeal of NXT (1 year of touring) ROH will kick their fucking asses if WWE keeps trying to run the same towns. |

| It's too bad SBG doesn't want to spend much money on ROH. They're like 5 times bigger than WWE and could beat them in a war. Hell they even have political connections and have WWE looked at as a monopoly. |

| lol You say that like it'd be so easy. The parent company can be as big as it wants, but unless you're prepared to throw literally millions upon millions at it like WCW did, it ain't ever happening. And WCW only did it because Ted Turner was a giant wrestling mark.
They know it'd cost too much to take them on and then ROH would end up dead. WWE has plenty of connections, deals and far more history to be able to pull stuff off. They went full on with them, WWE would win, guarantee it. |
