With the rumors that Jeff is trying to buy TNA and get GFW on Des. America, Will GFW and TNA become one? and Should they?

The only worth TNA has at this point is their TV slot on Destination America.

I don't think GFW should buy TNA for that. Destination America seems interested in experimenting with Pro Wrestling.

GFW is TNA 2.0 and TNA is still Jeff's first baby. If anyone should close it down it should be him. I say buy it and get all the rights to the TNA library and get all the remaining TNA talent which seem to be jumping ships to GFW anyways. Get that TV slot. I think there will be a merger and I think it should happen.

And I think it would be better to sign talent to new contracts rather than getting the screwy ones TNA makes.

I don't know Jeff's relationship with Bob Carter but if I was him I'd screw Dixie over and try to take TNA's TV deal in September and leave them cold. But I guess I'm more of a bitter person than Jarrett.

Like I said TNA is Jeff's first baby and it would be proper for him to end it out of everyone. And I think TNA's Library is worth it. I know in recent years maybe not as much, but those early shows and events had some badass matches.

Did any of you go out and buy TNA DVDs? Why would Jarrett buy it unless he's either that sentamental about it or he's going to try sell DVDs.

Suggesting like 13 or whatever years of wrestling content isn't worth something, is stupid. Even WWE would purchase it.

Any company would purchase TNA's history, considering they'd get "bragging rights" over the merchandize and possible "feuds" they could re-create. (among other priviledges).

If WWE (for example) were to lay their hands on that, wow... Suddendly Samoa Joa would get full track record lol

If 9 years of the original ECW's history could be worth buying, then so could 13 years of TNA.

And it would be stupid if GFW merged with TNA but they didn't get their libary. That's what happened to Jerry Jarrett when he bought World Class.

with the amount wwe would most likely have to pay for TNA's library would be pocket change for Vince. Just more stuff for the network. He make his money back quickly.

Jerry Jarrett started The Continental Wrestling Association and Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling. It would be hard to confuse the two promotions.

well we are talking about Jeff not Jerry. GFW is TNA 2.0 with hopefully Double J learning from his mistakes from TNA 1.0 and avoid having to make a 3rd company and trying all over again.

TNA and GFW have too much similarities anyways so you really could mix them up

I really GFW is like Southern Wrestling like CWA or USWA was. We already have WWE and no one is going to out WWE WWE, as much as TNA tried. We don't need another late '90s WCW attempt.

again TNA 2.0 without the mistakes. Russo being one of them. Dixie being another. Everything he tried with TNA he will try with GFW but will try it differently.

You're too confident in GFW. They haven't put on their first taped TV show yet, so there is plenty of time for mistakes; Jarrett's methods are not going to change that much. I wouldn't be remotely shocked if Russo ends up in GFW at some point in it's future.
