It’s being said that there is no talk from Ring Of Honor about working an angle with TNA down the line. Although it could help both sides, the thought is one company would have to be “superior” and win, and neither side would likely see themselves as being inferior to the other.

No one has to "win". Where'd they get the idea that one of them had to beat the other. The point would be to showcase both companies for the better and all they need to do is have a number of matches and interpromotional storylines until they announce they've reconciled and announce a mutual respect and friendship
