Welcome to XWA's WWE PPV Slam!

This prediction league is solely for WWE Pay-Per-Views and special Network events, spanning from SummerSlam 2015 to SummerSlam 2016. Anybody can join at any time.

The rules are simple: you guess the winner and method of winning (pinfall, submission, etc..) for each match. If you guess both correctly, you gain 150 points. Guessing the winner correctly nets you 100 points, whereas guessing the method correctly nets you 50 points.

In addition to fighting for bragging rights, you will also be competing for money.

And there are NUMEROUS ways to win money!

The first way to win money is by having the most points by the end of SummerSlam 2016. First place winner gets a $50 Gift Card to a website of their choosing. Second and third place winners get a $25 and $10 Gift Card to a website of their choosing, both respectively.

The second way to win money is by having the most "#1 Rankings" by the end of SummerSlam 2016. "#1 Rankings" means whoever scores the most points for each individual Pay-Per-View. There will only be one winner for this category, and that winner will receive a $25 Gift Card to the WWE Shop. (In the event there is a tie, whoever earned the higher amount of points will be declared the winner.)

The third and final way to win money happens for each Pay-Per-View. In the event someone scores a perfect prediction, in both winner and method only (no special choosings such as eliminations), they will receive a $10 Gift Card to the WWE Shop.

THIS IS JUST A PRACTICE, SO NO MONEY WILL BE HANDED OUT.

Additional Information:

Certain matches will allow for multiple winners to be chosen, such as the Royal Rumble. For this example: three choices can be made, giving a 1/10 advantage to guess someone correctly, as opposed to 1/30.

Topics will go up a week before the Pay-Per-View, allowing people to begin choosing who they believe will win. Two days before the event, a mass PM will be sent out to those who posted in the topic to remind them to make any changes. The topic will close at the start of the pre-show (if applicable; if not applicable, the start of the PPV/event). At the end of Raw and SmackDown for that week after the topic is posted, the topic will be bumped and edited for matches.

Method Definitions:
Pinfall - Typically occurs in the ring, but certain stipulations change that. A wrestler covers another wrestler for a three-count.
Submission - Typically occurs in the ring, but certain stipulations change that. A wrestler causes another wrestler to tap-out.
Disqualification - Numerous things, such as outside interference, not listening to the referee about rope-break, illegal use of weapons, etc..
No Contest - The match ends in a way where there's no declared winner.
Knockout - The referee declares a wrestler unable to compete anymore.
