Swansea are 'close' to signing Saint-Etienne defender Franck Tabanou, according to Sky sources.

It has been mooted that the Premier League club will pay £3.5m for the full-back.

Tabanou, 26, joined the Ligue 1 team in 2013, having represented France at Under-20 and Under-21 level.

Saint-Etienne finished fifth in this season’s league table
