[center]Matthew ascends the steel steps and enters the ring over the top rope with ease. He cracks his neck and his hands in preparation for the match about to go underway. Evan Flare glances over at his opponent, measuring him up as he gets ready for the upcoming battle. The referee throws his hands up, to signal the bell.

DING!! DING!! DING!!

Upon the triple sonance of the ring bell, our match is officially underway. This is the first time that these two men have met together inside the ring; Evan Flare returns to in-ring action after an extended few months worth of absence whereas Matthew Bradley has been in XWA with a matter of months. Despite being strangers to each other, their movesets will have been scouted prior to this bout: Matthew Bradley - the bigger man - is expected to try dominate this match with the size advantage he possesses, whereas Flare is well documented for using a hard-hitting physical approach in the ring. The two vertically extend their arms, motioning for a traditional collar-elbow-tie-up to kickstart this match. The two men lock up with one obvious superstar prevailing, although not the obvious that you'd expect. Flare allows his taller foe Bradley to lean forward to meet the latter at an even keel, though Evan opportunistically withdraws from the lock-up and drags Matthew down into a Front Chancery. Flare has the higher ground but fails to capitalize on this advantage, as Bradley towers up to a vertical base and shrugs the former "Franchise" off of his shoulders.

Matthew watches Flare land on his feet and rapidly pursues the latter with a thunderous clothesline-which is ducked in turn, as Bradley scurries towards the eastern ropes. Matthew rebounds off of the ropes to Big Boot his adversary, though again Evan dodges the strike but this time causes the unbalanced Bradley stumbles forward. Flare creeps up on Matthew and hits two sharp kicks to the back of his adversary's calf, and the kicks send Matthew declining to his knees. Evan darts westwards to the ropes before ricocheting off of them and hitting a bullet of a Running Dropkick! Bradley is knocked down onto his back, as he lays supine and is covered early by Flare: "ONE! T-!" Obviously Matthew shrugs his foe off, as Flare tumbles across the ring. Both men return to their feet to stand up tall. This time - as opposed to the slow struggle of a lock-up - Evan takes a more direct approach by kicking Bradley in the abdomen-although "The Real Xtreme Icon" blocks the attack as he grasps Evan's right boot. Matthew shakes his head in disbelief of how easily he has captured control, but Evan punishes him for this by leaping into mid-air for a Front-Feed Enzuigiri- which is intercepted as Bradley relinquishes grasp of Flare's foot and moves back!

Outsmarted, Flare fails to kick MB's face and lands spine-first on the mat as a consequence of this miss. Bradley leans forward and grabs the thighs of his supine foe before leaning back and displaying tremendous strength to hoist Evan onto his shoulders! Fans murmur in  amazement as Evan is in pole position for a powerbomb as Matthew walks towards the north-east corner of the ring. Evan tries to settle his opponent down with a few stiff punches to the skull, though this does not prevent Bradley from hurling "The Franchise" forward into the turnbuckles with the Bradley Bomb! Flare is chucked so high into the turnbuckles however, so high that he is seated on the top ropes. There is no sign of ring rust from Evan Flare, as the Punta Gorda native boots the face of the approaching Matthew Bradley to buy himself some time. Matthew backs up following the stiff kicks to the face, but perhaps he has been given too much room as he tactically backs up into the opposite corner of the ring. Knowing it is physically impossible to reach Bradley from where he is mounted, Evan bitterly dismounts and lands on his feet; although the defeatist attitude sees an unaware Flare immediately sandwiched between the turnbuckles and the splashing 288-pound frame of Matthew's!

Having witnessed both men's observant pragmatic styles through the early stages of the match, the groaning fans are taken aback by Bradley's velocious attack which was spurred by the distracted emotion of Flare's. Matthew backs away from the corner with a dazed Flare following him, and Bradley tucks his entire upper-body underneath the torso of Evan's before MB raises his arm to elevate his foe- and slam him to the mat with a Uranage Sideslam! The rumbling sound of the mat causes fans to groan once more, though Bradley remains on the pounce as he vaults his legs on either side of the top rope before twisting backwards with a sickly Corkscrew Moonsault onto the ribcage of Flare's! Evan rolls into the center of the ring, cradling his ribs in agony as fans groan louder than any of the aforementioned reactions. Needless to say, those in attendance are shocked by Bradley's high-flying attack, though the follow-up pin-fall is a less of a surprise as Matthew hooks his opponent's legs. "ONE! TWO!"
