The month of May has quickly turned into an extremely chaotic time for pro wrestling fans, with three major WWE events still to come in the next two weeks, Ring of Honor vs. New Japan live on PPV from Toronto and the announcement of the Lucha Libre World Cup on IPPV featuring English commentary from Matt Striker and Vampiro.

This is in addition to our normal WWE, NXT, TNA and Lucha Underground coverage and Wrestle Chat discussion pages, and the launch of our new weekly Wrestlezone Network Club, where next week we will begin coverage of Starrcade 1984: The Million Dollar Challenge.

Below is an updated list of events for this month. There is confirmed live coverage for WWE Payback, NXT Takeover, WWE Elimination Chamber and the World Cup IPPV. We are still working to confirm coverage on the two upcoming ROH and New Japan shows.

ROH vs. New Japan “Global Wars” #1

Available on IPPV. The main event will feature The Bullet Club vs. Team ROH in a 10-man tag team war, plus an ROH TV title match between Jay Lethal and Naito, Shinsuke Nakamura vs. ACH and more.

WWE NXT Takeover: Unstoppable
May 20 @ 8PM ET

A single-elimination trios tournament featuring eight teams from all around the world, including stars from TNA, Lucha Underground, Ring of Honor, AAA, Pro Wrestling Noah, All Japan and more! The IPPV is live from Mexico, with Matt Striker and Vampiro providing English commentary.

WWE Elimination Chamber
May 31 @ 8PM ET

WWE Network exclusive. For the first time, the tag team titles and vacant Intercontinental Championship will be decided inside the Elimination Chamber. Plus, the world title and the U.S. title on the line. Matches to be announced soon.

More Coming Soon…

And don’t forget, the New Japan Best of the Super Juniors tournament kicks off on May 22nd with the finals to take place on June 7th. Several of the shows, including the kick-off and finale, will be available on New Japan World. The winner of last year’s tournament is now a top star in Lucha Underground as Prince Puma, and the winner of the 2013 tournament soon left for WWE to become NXT stand-out Finn Balor.

How many of these will you watch?
