One year ago today, Jerry "The King" Lawler experienced a near fatal episode as he collapsed on a live edition of WWE Raw from Montreal. The incident happened live on television and was reported he suffered a heart attack. It was later revealed that he went through Cardiac Arrest. The definintion of Cardiac Arrest is "caused when the heart's electrical system malfunctions. In cardiac arrest death results when the heart suddenly stops working properly. This may be caused by abnormal, or irregular, heart rhythms (called arrhythmias)." Below is a tweet from Lawler himself discussing the event that almost took his life a year ago. Lawler returned to WWE Raw on November 12, just over two months from his incident.
