When New Day won the WWE Tag Team Titles at Extreme Rules, Xavier Woods became the first wrestler to ever hold the WWE and TNA Tag Team Titles without actually winning either of the titles.
Woods wrestled as Consequences Creed in TNA, and replaced Adam “Pacman” Jones in an unsuccessful TNA Tag Title defense against AJ Styles and Tomko in 2007.
Creed went on to win the TNA Tag Titles as part of Lethal Consequences, but his classification as a Tag Team Champion when he defended against Styles and Tomko was not a result of him winning the titles. It will be interesting to see if WWE actually recognizes Woods as a tag team champion, as New Day previously talked about them utilizing the Freebird Rule, which allows any two of three stable members to defend the titles in a tag match.
