Tokyo Sports has posted an article featuring an interview with Japanese wrestling legend The Great Muta who is just days away from holding his first event under the new Wrestle-1 promotional banner.
As we reported earlier, TNA and Wrestle-1 have been having a number of talks concerning a talent exchange. In his latest interview, Muta reveals that no TNA talent is booked for the inaugural W-1 event.
Muta mentions some sparse detail about the TNA W-1 talent exchange which he says involves no formal contractual obligations. The two in principal have agreed to send strictly younger developmental talent to each others promotions. He mentions that at this time, there are no official W-1 talent coming to TNA as the official W-1 roster is only 10 wrestlers right now.
Finally, Muta reveals his intentions of having a working relationship with as many companies as possible including mainstays in Europe and Mexico. His idea is to have W-1 be a part of a 4 tier talent exchange and to have his future champions defend their titles in TNA, Japan, Mexico and Europe.
