Due March 16th, 2015 @ 11:59 PM EST

Knockout-Only Match

A Knockout-Only Match is a match where the only way to win is to knock your opponent out, HOWEVER it's without the use of weapons. A wrestler can still be disqualified. There is no count-out outside the ring. It's not a Last Man Standing Match where the referee will count until ten, rather, the referee will end the match when he believes that a wrestler can no longer compete.

PostSubject: Re: MATCH 6) Matthew Bradley vs. James Knight (Knockout-Only Match)   MATCH 6) Matthew Bradley vs. James Knight (Knockout-Only Match) EmptySun Mar 15, 2015 4:49 pm

The bells tolls thrice, setting this Knockout-Only match into motion between two interesting prospects, James Knight and Matthew Bradley. Matthew Bradley is stood on one side of the ring and Knight on the opposing side of the ring, as both men study the possibilities of starting this match whilst glaring at the enemy opposite of them. These two aren't exactly fan favourites with both superstars being just as arrogant as each other. James - "The Prince of Poon" - fancies himself as a deity to women, although he is taking his latest run in XWA much more seriously as he wants to end his career being well-respected, as the former 2WWF Pure Champion has found himself coming in-and-out of this company. On the other hand, Matthew's career is just getting started. Bradley is undefeated - three and zero - and finds himself wanting to extend his perfect record in this contest, but can only achieve that with a K.O.

.: Ted Cedar :.
"Here we go, it's time for the Knockouts-Only Match between Matthew Bradley and James Knight."

.: Joey Miles :.
"It's the guy who's doing well against the guy who was doing well five years ago, until he got fired and fucked up."

The first move in the match is made by Matthew Bradley. Surprisingly, it's not an offensive move. He extends his hand out, in hopes of a handshake. James appears hesitant to accept at first, but he slowly reaches in, grabbing the hand of his much larger opponent, as the two shake hands. There are subdued cheers from the crowd, as these two arrogant men display the respect that may have for one another. However, as Knight wants to let go of the handshake, Bradley refuses. Matthew shakes his head with a devilish grin as he reels "S.K.E" in for a clothesline- but Knight dodges and dashes westwards! The experience of Knight's shows as he evades the sneak attack, Matthew turns around to taste the boots of James' Front Dropkick! Matthew's spine bounces off of the canvas although he gets to his feet almost immediately, but James is not willing to let the bigger man rest as Knight slashes the chest of MB's with knife-edged Chops. Fans chant "woooo" as Knight's melee leaves a lasting red glow on the chest of Bradley's, with the bigger man currently incapable of catching up with James' pace. The continuous chopping forces Matthew into the eastern ropes and James grabs the 287 pounder's forearm before going for an Irish Whip- which is countered as Bradley reverses it and whips Knight to the opposite ropes.

.: Joey Miles :.
"James is on Matthew's ass at the moment."

.: Ted Cedar :.
"Knight is surprisingly dominating the early stages of this match."

.: Joey Miles :.
"This is rape!"

The incoming James charges at Bradley but is caught by the waist and released overhead by a Belly-to-Belly suplex! Knight goes to tumbling to the mat, arching his spine in clear agony following a thunderous fall to the canvas. Knight slowly rises to his feet - feeling whiplash - with an onlooking Bradley widely grinning at the weakened foe. As soon as James is standing, "The Cancer" is tossed by the scruff of his neck into the north-east turnbuckles as Matthew Bradley begins to drive his shoulder into the former's abdomen via a several intense shoulder thrusts. Bradley eases off James as referee Ryu Sanu warns him about the disqualification rule that is still present. Matthew approaches Knight once more, but the latter quickly swipes at Bradley's eyes, for a quick break as James crawls through the legs of the blinded MB. Bradley, now angered by getting his eye raked, turns towards the "Avenger." He doesn't get a chance to see much however, as he's immediately nailed by another running dropkick from James, a direct stinging shot to his groin. Matthew lets out a monstrous roar, as he drops to his knees. With Matthew closer to James' eye-level now, the latter swings his foot and hammers it around the skull of Bradley's via a swift Roundhouse kick!

.: Joey Miles :.
"James must have bought a fucking time machine."

.: Ted Cedar :.
"What a sick kick by Knight!"

Fans groan as James' two successive kicks were cringe-worthy, with the latter forcing Matthew Bradley to decline onto his back. James lets out an arrogant smirk, as he's managed to turn this match around and he makes his way to the north-east corner to climb the top turnbuckle. The 2WWF alumnus' smirk quickly turns to a more surprised expression, as he sees the befuddled Bradley begins getting up to his feet, especially so soon after the couplet of kicks. Realizing he needs to get back on the offensive, Knight vaults off of the top rope for a double axe-handle strike! All this does is lure the S.K.E into a trap, as Matthew stops him dead in his tracks, by latching onto his neck. The entire ring is shook, as James is slammed full force onto his spine following a huge Chokeslam from Matthew Bradley! Fans murmur in concern as the rise-and-fall of Knight's is a spine-curling one as the veteran arches his vertebrae in clear discontent, so Knight opts to roll out of the ring. James is aware that there's no count-outs in this match - just the difficult task of knocking out a best - so he rests on the ring floor. "Down goes another one of your buddies, Astin!" screams Matthew, fully aware of the history of 2WWF.

.: Joey Miles :.
"He's angry! MATTHEW GET OFF YOUR PERIOD AND KILL HIM!"

.: Ted Cedar :.
"Matthew Bradley seems to be referring to James Knight as a friend of Astin's."

.: Joey Miles :.
"They must be friends, how else does James have a job?"

Bradley scales the top rope and climbs over to exit the ring, seeing his vulnerable foe cowering into the timekeeper's corner. Matthew's walk is a slow one and is not a slightest bit concerned about his recuperating adversary. With the match being contested at ringside, Sanu scurries to the outside, anticipating that something important could happen. James is up on his feet - albeit doubled over, facing the timekeeper's corner - as Bradley approaches him and punches Knight as the latter turns around and meets a steel chair!!? Matthew yells as his knuckles begin to bleed after clattering his hand against the steel! Referee Sanu tells off the recovering Knight - for introducing the chair - and takes the weapon off of the latter, but doesn't disqualify him as he didn't swing. Matthew is enraged by this dirty tactic and he begins levelling Knight with fierce forearm strikes, each meeting James' skull and knocking him against the announcer's table. With James weakened, Matthew kicks the Tennessee native in the abdomen, and grasps his arm around Knight's head. Bradley moves under James' right-arm and lifts the latter, before dropping him forward onto the edge of the table! The crowd moan once upon hearing the ribs of James Knight's crash against the announcer's table cover, as he bounces off of it and rolls to the floor once more.

.: Ted Cedar :.
"THAT WAS AN UNFORGIVING SLAM ONTO THE TABLE BY BRADLEY."

.: Joey Miles :.
"Holy shit! That's much better."

Referee Sanu warns Bradley this time, ensuring that MB doesn't make more use of the current environment. Knight clutches his ribs in discomfort as he crawls along the floor towards the western area of ringside, though his movements are feeble and looks like a fish out of water. Matthew casually strolls across the jeering crowd as he eyes his prey, and he made no secret - prior to this match - about wanting James to suffer tonight. Bradley doesn't want to make the same mistake of allowing Knight to rest too much, therefore it's not surprise to see MB raise James to his feet by the scruff of his neck. James stirs, remaining dazed as he is lifted once more- this time he rests on the burly shoulder of Bradley's. It seems as if Matthew could be going for that modified Powerslam that he calls the "Mark of Disdain!" MB raises Knight but can't seem to drop his adversary, as James wraps his left-arm around Matthew's throat! Knight ensnares his legs around Matthew's waist, with onlooking fans murmuring excitably as the Southerner applies a Dragon Sleeper! Matthew's free-arm flails as he is immediately asphyxiated, and James tightens his grasp as much as he can, realising that THIS is his chance to knock out Bradley.

.: Joey Miles :.
"NO FUCK OFF, THIS IS RAPE AGAIN!"

.: Ted Cedar :.
"JAMES KNIGHT HAS BRADLEY IN THE DRAGON SLEEPER, AND IT'S KNOCKOUTS ONLY, THESE ARE THE KIND OF MOVES THAT WIN MATCHES."

.: Joey Miles :.
"DON'T TAP OUT MATTHEW!"

Robbed of breath, Bradley backs up away from the ring and James begins yelling as he applies as much pressure as he can. The ongoing battle may be at ringside but all Knight needs is a knockout, it doesn't matter matter where it happens! Both men's eyes widen; James' of intent and Matthew's just bulge out of his head, with Knight doing the best to constrict the life out of him. James is back in this fight - and he has control - with his larger opponent firmly in his grasp, and Matthew is certainly overwhelmed by the pressured being applied and there is no way out for him- but maybe there is back. Bradley leans back and suddenly both men topple over the ringside barricade! Both men fall into the first row of the crowd, so fans are ushered back closer to the others behind them, and the audience seem to like what they see as they cheer- raucously. Two arrogant superstars doing whatever they can to knock the other out, appeals to them greatly, though James' rejuvenation favours him as he rises to a vertical base, scratching his head as if he was only itching.

.: Joey Miles :.
"What is James doing tonight? He's usually shit."

.: Ted Cedar :.
"James Knight is up on the barricade, and he'd better be careful here!"

Knight climbs the barricade, in control of his balance as he looks down at the doubled Bradley as MB tugs at his throat, trying to catch his breath. Matthew leans against the barricade, draping himself over it as he attempts to elevate himself- but he is suddenly caught by a plummeting Knight's leg drop! James lands heavily as Matthew's chest thuds against the solid barricade, and the veteran's force is enough to send Bradley falling to the ringside floor. Two douchebags competing against each other doesn't leave fans with a clear-cut favourite, the divided audience chant "Let's go Bradley" "Let's go James, Let's go!" James slowly gets up to his feet - maintaining his stamina - and looks down at the prone Matthew Bradley and he is disappointed to see the latter is breathing, heavily but still breathing. James is at crossroads, he does not know what to do. He's against a heavier opponent, therefore he can't throw him around. He's tried his patented Dragon Sleeper, but Bradley mustered enough strength to escape. He sees Bradley, climbing to his feet, though the rise is prolonged. Bradley is beginning to show fatigue for the first time in his XWA career.

.: Joey Miles :.
"James has made Matthew his bitch, god dammit!"

James takes advantage of his weakened opponent, and rolls him back inside the ring. Knight slides into the ring, taking chase to the vulnerable Bradley, with the 287-pounder doubled and striding towards the south-east corner. Knight has his adversary trapped against the turnbuckles, and he decides to climb the ropes until he reaches the top, and it's from here he begins hammering away at Matthew's head with desperate punches. Knight's fists land an impact as he grazes the forehead of Bradley's, though he may regret staying in place for too long as he is dropped groin-first onto Matthew's knee! The landing following the Inverted Atomic Drop stiffens James' posture but S.K.E is quickly hoisted overhead by the legs, as he is flapjacked across the top turnbuckle! The skull-first collision into the turnbuckle pad sees Knight staggers backwards and he slowly turns around, only to be bombarded by a somersaulting Matthew Bradley who ends the combination with a Senton Attack! Fans murmur once more in amazement, some even cheering the slightly revitalized Bradley after that impressive sequence of moves. Knight is down and breathing slowly following the overwhelming chain of events, and it seems as if the energy that Bradley put in has drained him- as both men are laid on their backs, supine on the canvas.

Sunami, I'm not sure if James Knight also sent you a message, but he's informed me that due to leaving his laptop at school during Spring Break + picking up a second job that he doesn't have time to e-fed at the current moment. Which means you win by default.
