According to PWInsider.com, WWE recently registered the old Kliq hand gesture for merchandising.

The belief is that the company is “taking aim” at popular New Japan Pro Wrestling faction, The Bullet Club, who uses the hand gesture as well as other mannerisms and sayings from the Kliq, nWo and Degeneration X. The Young Bucks even have multiple shirts for sale at prowrestlingtees.com featuring the “too sweat” gesture.

Earlier today we noted that WWE had filed a new trademark for the Kliq hand gesture, currently used by most – if not all – members of the popular Bullet Club faction in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

The Young Bucks, the current IWGP Jr. Tag Champions and card-carrying members of the “Biz Cliz” responded via Twitter:

Too sweet me before we get sued for continuing to use this. pic.twitter.com/41ihX1u6V5

When you’re apart of the coolest most over stable in the last ten years and it doesn’t belong to the Fed I’d be jealous too.

Former WWE Superstar and Degeneration X member Sean “X-Pac” Waltman also weighed-in on the situation.

“@TheRealXPac: @NickJacksonYB @2CW These guys all pay tribute to us by carrying on the tradition.”Exactly. We thank you 4 paving the way.
