| Vendetta #1
Match 1.) Van Scarburough vs. Vertigo
- Some mat wrestling to start. Basically, they're taking turns tossing each other around in grapples. - Lots of counters. - Vertigo starts wrecking shit. - Oh shit, now Van starts wrecking shit. - Oh shit, now Vertigo starts wrecking shit. - Lionsault by Vertigo, which I believe is a signature of his. Kickout at two, though. - Vertigo calls for his finisher, but Van's like "HOW ABOUT NO?" and knees him in the ribs. - Van immediately follows this up by landing his wind up punch finisher, but Vertigo kicks out before one. I assume it was a rope break, because it was right next to the ropes, but there was no indication. - Six reversals in a row. Because fuck yeah, technical wrestling. - Vertigo wrecks shit for a bit. - Vertigo calls for his finisher again, but this time he lands it. Overdrive thingy. Vertigo wins.
Winner: Vertigo Rating: 2 Stars
Match 2.) Ryan Quill vs. Dominik Diveraz
- LET'S GO DOMINIK! But I'm not biased. - Chain wrestling to start, as is the norm in this game. - Lots of chain wrestling. - Instead of Ryan hitting Dominik with everything but the kitchen sink, he hits him with the kitchen sink before anything else. - Dominik doing Mexican jumpy shit. - Very back and forth, so far. - Dominik, that's the third fucking Vertical Suplex you've done. Stop it. - Standing Moonsault by Diveraz. That's more like it. - Ryan goes for a Clothesline and Dominik ducks, so he keeps running and eventually tries to ascend the turnbuckle. Diveraz Dropkicks him and Quill flies out of the ring. - IT'S A BRAWL OUTSIDE THE RING! BAH GAWD! - Ryan reenters the ring after Suplexing Dominik on the outside, at a count of six. He does some posing in the ring and Diveraz ends up getting back in just after nine. That actually seemed legit as fuck. >_> - Reversals out the ass. - Dominik reverses Ryan's finisher and elbows him in the back. - ENOUGH WITH THE SUPLEXES, DOMINIK, YOU'RE FIVE FOOT FOUR! - Diveraz went for his finisher, which is a Codebreaker in this game cause I don't think they have Front Lungblowers, but Ryan reverses. - Superkick by Ryan, but Diveraz kicks out as close as possible to three. - Ryan with his Roundhouse Kick finisher for the victory. Fuck this game.
Winner: Ryan Quill Rating: 2.5 Stars
Match 3.) Minkaro vs. JHalc
- Chain wrestling. Le shock. - Minkaro wrecking shit. - Basically, this match so far has been Minkaro dominating, JHalc getting a reversal and then Minkaro reversing his first attempt a move and going back to dominating. - Oh shit, spoke too soon. JHalc making a comeback. - Spoke too soon, again. - Minkaro with a standing Corkscrew Moonsault. - And again. - Ouch. Minkaro went for a Springboard Cross Body and JHalc tried to Dropkick him in mid-air and they both died. - Fameasser by Mink for a very close two count. - A third standing Corkscrew Moonsault, because spot monkey. - Buncha reversals. - JHalc going for Surfboard Stretches a lot. - Headlock Driver by JHalc but there's a rope break on the pin attempt. - Another Fameasser from Mink (FROM OUTTA NOWHERE) for the win.
Winner: Minkaro Rating: 3 Stars
Match 4.) Isaac vs. Azrael
- This match, and the main event, are dubbed "Rivalry Matches". - They shake hands pre-match, because that's totally right. - Lol. Shake hands, bell rings, big ass decapitating Clothesline from Azrael to start. - The cancer patient T-Bone Suplexing Azrael. - A lot of unsuccessful pin attempts early on. - Apron DDT by Azrael! - Some back and forth shit. - Standing Shooting Star Press by cancer dude. - And another one, for good measure. - Isaac goes for a Hurricanrana, but Azrael reverses into a Powerbomb. - Double Underhook DDT by Azrael, whom slowly crawls onto Isaac for the cover, despite not having really done all that much in this match. >_> Kickout at one, tho. - Omega Driver follows that up for the win.
Winner: Azrael Rating: 2 Stars
Match 5.) Chris Dolmeth vs. Robert Hope
- And the main event of our first show, as well as the second rivalry match, is a gogo. - Yay, chain wrestling. - Robert with Stalling Suplexes out the ass today. - Chris is pissed. He just sits on Robert and goes to town with punches. - Robert bringing out a ladder. Apparently this is no-disqualification. >_> - Chris knocks the ladder out of Robert's grasp and does more punches to his everything. - Yay, fighting on the outside. - Robert Dropkicking Chris in the throat. In the fucking throat. - And Chris is pissed again. - Very pissed. - Some back and forth stuff, still outside of the ring. - That ladder hasn't been touched since it was knocked out of Robert's hands. >_> - That was a T-Bone Suplex, Cole, not a Fallaway Slam. - Chris takes them back into the ring. - F5 by Chris as soon as they get in the ring, for a very close two count. Bah Gawd, Robert, just die! - Chris successfully performs a comeback moment, ending with a Spinebuster, and ... he pins Robert off of that. Chris, comeback moments are meant to lead to a signature, followed by a finisher and THEN a pin. - The ladder randomly standing after the match is over.
Winner: Chris Dolmeth Rating: 2.5 Stars
Newsfeed - Chris Dolmeth defeated Robert Hope, earning a huge upset victory! - The tense rivalry between Chris Dolmeth and Robert Hope heats up! |
