Subject: Very Graphic Intergender Match Footage Goes Viral Tue Mar 03, 2015 10:53 am
The following is video footage from a recent intergender match between indy wrestlers Kimber Lee and Chris Dickinson, and it’s gaining a lot of attention due to the violent nature of the match.
The match took place on March 1 at Beyond Wrestling’s “King of Arts” show in Providence, Rhode Island. Dickinson eventually won the match against Lee, and the finish of the bout has been very polarizing, as some view it as Lee being given a fair shot as a woman, and others feel it portrays too much male on female violence. Yeah, really don't like that. If that's giving women a fair shot in wrestling, we're fucked.
Only saving grace from that is the chair looks like it's one of those plastic ones and not steel <_<

Both agreed to do the match. It wasn't a "graphic" match. It had a "graphic" end because it was botched. Yet it probably wouldn't have gone viral if it wasn't a female who was on the receiving end.

The chair to the head wasn't botched. I'm more concerned about that than the move, which he evidently did wrong, as stated.
And just because it was agreed upon, doesn't make it correct.

I think women should be able to wrestle men. Women like Candice Lerae prove it's something that can be done well. However, some small promotions are going to book "brutal" matches like ECW did with Bill Alfonzo and Buellah because people are fucking stupid.

Since when is a chairshot and a powerbomb "Very Graphic"? Sure headshots are a concussion risk, but it's been one of the staples of wrestling for years.

Beyond wrestling often have intergender matches. The fucking force chokeslam in Zanon's (I think it's Zanon) signature is from a Beyond Wrestling matc, so I don't think the company should be taken that seriously.
That said, meh I've seen worse in other matches involving women.
